I think Muneeb tried to be neutral and walk the middle ground.

The problem is this wasn't an issue to take a neutral stance on, because there is absolutely no way to justify Mohsin's actions.

Upar se everyone else came out very strongly against Mohsin (rightfully), even people he had worked with and seemed friendly with. This made Muneeb's neutrality look even worse, because by comparison to everyone else it's the closest to sounding like an endorsement.

I'm not saying anything about Muneeb's intentions or what he meant, because I don't know any of that. But I think that's how the optics worked for that scenario.

Ab dekhna ye hai, whether the industry stands its ground against Mohsin or whether he's back to acting in a year or so.

I don't understand how parents are ok with this sort of thing. The other day I was thinking about that drama Muqabil, and the scene in the pool with the little girl and Asif Raza Mir - as a parent how can you be ok with your kid being in a scene like that? I know they didn't physically show anything, but the implication is just disgusting.

Also re. Muneeb, I've never found him likable. There was always something about him that made me think he's a bit a chauvinist, but I never had a solid reason for thinking that. But he recently stood up for Mohsin Abbas Haider, so I now think my gut instinct on him is valid!

That's an endorsement and a false one at that. Just because someone swears on the Quran, it does not mean we can't or shouldn't doubt them. That kind of rhetoric is dangerous and completely wrong.

If anything, him resorting to swearing on the Quran should have sent alarm bells ringing that this man is guilty and using Islam and the Quran to gag people's negative opinions of him.

every sensible perosn figured out even before the press conference who the culprit was...and after the press conference it became clear because mohsin admitted it himself

Am back but did not yet get a chance to see any show or anything,tonight would try to watch scenes you guys talked about, especially the scene where she was checking the jewelry...
