Same. I had trouble explaining my reservations with the drama. I struggle with how the writer portrays Danish. Is he supposed to be the ideal husband? Or are we supposed to see him as a flawed character too (Ofc not on the same level of flawed as Mehwish/Shehwar).

Actors really don't say "This movie looks like a disaster" with some rare exceptions where the movie has so many production errors that you can't tell whats going on. Shehroze Sabzwari said the same about Chain Aye Na and that movie is on the same level as this one and Raasta.

I think Danish is flawed in how he's too yielding and obsessed with Mehwish but from the way the actors talk about him makes me feel like he was written to be ideal. There is so much in the relationship which makes it a toxic one though. It wouldn't look like Danish's love was suffocating if he had a life of his own and didn't have every other thought be about Mehwish.

The acting is really good here but at the end of the episodes I would always come out feeling drained so I left the show a few episodes back.

He is deeply in love with Mehwish ...his love would have become suffocating if he never gave Mehwish any space ..but looking back ...he has never stopped her from anything .. she went out with her friend ... She was not forced to cook and clean for him he never restricted her .. only finance was the issue

Danish might be written as an ideal husband ... But they just wanted to show another side of a husband who loves and trusts his wife and does not necessarily abuse her because of slight doubt .(which is shown most of the time in dramas)

danish k character me abhi bahot change aana hai..

last yer jab ye show shoot ho raha tha tab ayeza and Danish ka IV hai and waha humayun said k starting episodes tak wo fat and seedha saada hai than he changed.so sure mehwish k Jane k baad Danish rich hoga.

than ayeza said usko he show karne se darr LG raha tha.. b/c wo aisi nahi hai real life me.. even she said mene Danish name change karne ka bhi bahot kaha tha.. seriously i m also think same.. ayeza k liye Danish name sach me bahot weird raha hoga. she said makers said me k don't worry hum last me ye kar dete wo kar dege.. so it's means mehwish ko bhi zobi k jaise happy ending mil jayegi??

hope aisa na ho.. again unfair hoga humare saath.

By suffocating, I'm talking about putting the other person on a pedestal and the constant gushing and obsessing. Making your life revolve around the other person and their needs and not having a life of your own is a twisted kind of love. Danish comes off as clingy which isn't a good sign for relationships.

That doesn't mean his wife should leave him or is leaving because of it.

I am not sure if Danish is clingy ... But it is bad that his life only revolves around Mehwish

It's weird though. We're told so much about Danish's love for Mehwish, but when it comes down to it, the communication between them is kind of awful. And I'm not blaming Danish for that, but it seems like underneath all this romantic love, they don't really have communication or compatibility or even an understanding of each other, which I think are all more important than romantic "love".

I think there's an argument to be made whether you want someone to love you so much that they're willing to compromise their core values for you. And do you stop respecting such a person?

I think the suffocation isn't about possession that we usually see in dramas, but the I think the unhealthy bit about how Danish loves Mehwish is that he worships her in a way that makes her less of a human. Ofc, Shehwar doesn't particularly treat her like a person either, so maybe Mehwish enjoys that.

Sorry I'm philosophizing late in the night, lol.

To be completely honest I get the impression their 'love' for each other is grounded in vanity.

Danish's love is aesthetic, he fell for her looks and I don't think he quite believes that he managed to snag and marry her. And that plays into how insecure he comes off. Like he knows one day she'll realise she was out of his reach and up and leave.

Mehwish's love, on the other hand, seems conceited. She married him because he strokes her ego, puts her on a pedestal and flat out tells her she's the center of the universe. She likes that, and even with Shahwar that's part of what's drawing her to him. He flatters her as well, tells her she's beyond beautiful, too beautiful for Danish, etc. Honestly, I think if Shawar was rich but didn't play to her ego she wouldn't have gone through with an affair.

I don't think Danish or Mehwish truly love eachother.

Why they need a hotel room even though it was connected or separate. and in a day trip why she needs to sleep in her gown in a hotel room? Her character shown very cheap and greedy. I don't think she is in love with him.

Also in the office she is helping him to wear his jacket as if she is his wife.. I will never forgive her even she cry a ocean.
