I noticed that too. They didn't wait for him or think of him in that time. I understand it was important for Minnie to feel she had her Babes to herself for a bit and vice versa but I would have preferred if they'd mentioned him at least, but he was clearly not in their thoughts. I would have loved it if he reminded Babita that they forgot him when cutting the cake. 🤣

What today's episode established was the Babes and Minnie still had their own world while HS and Minnie had their own. They have yet to have one where all three are in there openly, and comfortably.

That was me was classic guilt-tripping. Babes needs to realise that she has the power to damage this bond further. If she can't, I'd rather she be in a bubble and all three relationships grow separately and organically before that bubble bursts.

When Babes mentioned Ashok too, she could have done that calmly. Explained her expectations, explained how Minnie was in her childhood. HS needs all the help he can get because he wasn't there. But expecting HS to fill that void just because of a marriage is impossible. Even with Hannie being so comfortable, who knows if HS will create his own space with M or if he can truly eradicate Ashok in her life. It's never that simple.

Despite what Minnie said to reassure HS, I felt that Babita's words about Minnie waiting for Ashok's gifts or that HS needed to fill the void is going to mess with his head and rather than make his own place in Minnie's heart, he might now try to compete for a place against the man they all hate.

I was really hoping Babita would talk to HS about Minnie's childhood, her growing years, how she changed over time, etc. so that he could learn about what he missed in 17 years but zilch.

In that scene, in that moment, this was the first thing that came to me. We as viewers can have such feelings but not the writers or characters. Huh!!!

Writers did, that's why they showed us that, precisely to make us feel this way. PB writers are great at emotional attyachar.

The truth of the matter is that she hasn't tried to make ANYTHING right between HS & Minnie. If she had truly considered him to be a part of her & Minnie's world then she would have included him in the birthday celebrations in some way or another, especially considering how they both had failed to wish Minnie in the morning.

But naa ji, yeh Maharani toh apne hi dhun mein lagi hui thi. I'm pissed at Babita today. 🤬
