Things are so bad among all three that they literally needed an intervention from the other three. Jeez.

HS' guilt about not knowing it was her birthday - come on, it's his problem to deal with rather than expecting Babita should have told him, etc. Since when did he need Babita to tell him this stuff?

I'm also curious as to how Minnie's birthday was never brought up before. Didn't they fill out the medical forms when Minnie was hospitalized? Or when she filled out the college applications? Or just in any of their conversations. Like, a birthday is such a basic question that you'll wanna know about the other person aur yeh toh apne aap ko Minnie baap kehta fir ta tha.

The trio were all wrong in this as HS never bothered to ask and these two never bothered to tell him.

Also, coming back to my point about the basic nature of a birthday, they're having rifts over something as simple as this. What the hell are they gonna do when bigger topics come up like the necessity of a father in this familial unit or Babita's supposed impending pregnancy?
