I am telling you, it seems like someone swapped out the writing team. This show used to have simple but very meaningful dialogues. Nowadays it's 50-50 hit or miss.

There are professionals in the production team. Yet they fail to see this very basic lack of charm. Please someone stop with the ‘ji’ business. Pronto.

Yeah, they didn't need physical contact for that chemistry to show.

It's defo the poor screenplay that makes scenes look this way now, made worse by editing.

They can keep using the ji and still make it extremely sweet and charming. The scenes are not set up correctly and neither are the dialogues. Remember when HS came back running from Chandigarh and they barely got a work out to each other, kept saying 'ji', or the scene where HS was asking Babita if she ever replied back to Lovely - they was a lot of chemistry there and apnapan.

Coming to good day hai ji.. it was so bad. Writers ka dimaag kharab ho rakha hai. Every dialogue in morning scene was horrible. Couldn’t director understand the scene had no impact after he okays the scene?

Ek request hai ji. Aap kaho to ji. Hanuman sounded like naukar asking for a day’s chhutti to babita. This making Hanuman to appear like joru ka ghulam is so downer.

Its like a competition going on between Hanita and Hannie fan 😆... I wanna be like I like them both, along with Mini-Babes bond, but if they are gonna glorify one character and butcher the other two in a contrived manner then they need to be called out for it.

It indeed sounded very weird. He could have very well just said I was thinking of inviting my colleagues over for dinner and just wanted to ask you before I tell them to come over. As simple as that, instead of request hai ji and all lol. Its not like Babita expects Hanuman to ask her for permission for every thing. Yupp this whole HS being joru ka ghulam isn't working.

Only Minnie was left intact at the end of the track but now hers is going downhill as well.

They did do that. It was out of nowhere and out of HS's character to say that.

@Bold: I don't know if her character is supposedly going downhill per the writers. They are trying every way to glorify her so that we sympathize with her... its a different thing that the execution isn't working at all, and most people end up getting annoyed with Mini than sympathizing with her.

Babita = Baby

I don't think they will call each other this in a million years 😆.

Chemistry has always been there. These are the same characters that burned our screens with Dheere Jalna, Tum Pukaar lo etc, even that alcohol scene was so freaking amazing. I can't get enough of watching that.

Poor screenplay, poor writing, poor execution, poor editing etc. is at fault here.

Yes, it's such a shame because they had this great opportunity to properly show how children also have trouble adjusting to changed dynamics when their parents remarry. It's a genuine concern but now it's become farcical with the lack of balance in the way the character arcs are going. Unfortunately some members of the audience, instead of understanding the sensitive nature of such relationships, will now go back to saying it's better not to (re) marry as it ruins the couples lives as well as their kids' ones.

Babita doesn't seem to be thinking about HS' point of view or putting herself in his shoes. I am sure she doesn't even get to what extent he is bending over backwards for her.

She has always made power plays in this relationship, and as per her sense of entitlement, what she is getting from him is her due. Never mind that he is her husband who has been through several layer of hell of his own over the years, has not yet healed, and is reducing his expectations of her to near zero.
