Only it didn't work out there, and then she decides she wants to be married to Zahid, so they're both on a mission to find someone to do halala with. In the end, Sana's ex-boyfriend's servant agrees. Zahid was a complete doormat throughout the whole drama. But then he overhears this conversation between Sana and her mother where she says that she's marrying him because she has no other option and this nikkah when they were young ruined her life blah blah.

For some reason that really affects him, and he refuses to remarry her, and basically tells the servant that he can stay married to her. Sana has to go to the village with her new husband. And Zahid marries Yumna Zaidi.

I dunno. I haven't seen any other dramas by Khalil, but the two I've seen are very similar. You've got these women with obvious character flaws and who are horrible to the people around them. And they're married to these men who seem to have no self respect and let the women make tamashas of them. I'm just hoping Danish is a better character than Zahid's character. He shouldn't have to married Sana, but he didn't have to go about it the way he did.

I've caught glimpses of his other shows here and there and its pretty much what you said, horrible women just making fools of the men and then the women get punished pretty brutally. The most positive main female lead I can think of was Mehwish Hayat's character in PNJ and even then, it was kinda gross how she was suddenly turned into this gold digger? The movie made a point of making her look bad even when her husband was no better or even worse at times.

Like, everyone loves this man's "philosophical" dialogues, but I feel like his plot and characters are nothing special and/or below average.

Yumna ka bas itna hi role tha? And who was the other guy?

The story sounds boring but maybe its one of those shows that had a good direction...a drama well executed can even make a boring story fun to watch

That's the weird thing, even though the women are so obviously horrible and such villains, I don't like the men much either. I didn't realise he also wrote PNJ. I never watched that, but I caught a scene where she'd left him after he hit her, and that turned me off so much I didn't bother to watch it.

I think with his dramas, the actors/directors do a LOT of the heavy lifting as well.

Yumna basically was the daughter of Zahid's landlord. She was the complete opposite of Sana's character. I liked her (but I generally always like Yumna lol) but the comparison was quite heavy handed. She was the typical good girl (the way she spoke reminded me of my dadi tbh, lol). She'd been in love with Zahid the whole time, but he'd only had eyes for Sana.

There was a weird scene at the end where he actually tells Yumna what he did to Sana at the end, and she's not impressed by his behaviour, but then he says this weird thing that basically implied, oh women like Sana aren't like women like you, she deserved it. Blegh.

Wikipedia says the other guy was Yasir Mazhar. I haven't seen anything else he's in personally. His tragedy was he dumped Sana to marry a rich politician's daughter. But his wife gets murdered and he's accused of killing her so he spends his life in jail.

so the other guy was not someone famous...it must be a side role like tipu in DMKD...im guessing the main leads were zahid yumna and sana?

so basically Yumna was like Hira of this show lol

we're all confused about the implication lol if they really wanted to imply that they slept together then why two room and not just one, thts my confusion. but either way mehwish has crossed all the lines, maybe not physically but emotionally she's still cheating danish.

This was the surprise Aiza has been promoting since last week so yes they did the deed.

I think they just tried to make it as vague as possible so the show doesnt get banned

I think they wanted everyone to be confused😆 on one hand, there are two rooms.. on the other, there is Mehwish in nightsuit.. they deliberately played out the scene to keep suspense of some kind.. like you know in the end they will bring out the twist or something😆 like Alif
