The Shiva Strotam or Tandav was originally sung by Ravana to receive Chandrahas. The most powerful weapon of Lord Shiva.
Shiva Strotam is a Tandav- the dance of destruction! And the power of the character’s darkness is compared to Ravana’s darkness.

The intent is metaphorical. Having said all of this, Rishabh has me all consumed!
