Okay, this is what I understand from the promo:

HS asks Babes why did she feel so hurt by what he and Kammo said. Although, she may not said the full truth, but there is some elements that are.

She asks him if he called himself Minnie's father and he says yes, to make her happy and reassure her.

Babita says, how Minnie kept thinking that it was genuine all this time to which HS says that no, that's not the case. Veer Balika had understood a long time ago.

Babes says how she's feeling hurt from hearing all this. She questions him if he has never considered Minnie as his daughter.

And then we'll get HS' clarification.

So, from all this, what I'm understanding is that he used the official father tag to keep Babita happy, not everything else. He didn't become Minnie's dad as a means of impressing Babes. He took the step of using the title so that Babita knew for a fact what his and Minnie's relationship is that if she chooses, she can build one with him. Take that extra step, connect herself with him and complete their little family. Otherwise, they were all fine living as they were.

At least, this is what I'm understanding from it. I don't see any malice in HS' words or actions. He seems to be pretty calm here. So I dunno if she says something to piss him off or Minnie.

I know what you mean but I think even if he decides to go this way it will be because of Minnie and because he resigns and understands that there should be no compulsion in relationships. He won't stop loving her as a father, though. People like him feel deeply and don't just flip a switch on their emotions. I don't even want to think of how much it's going to hurt him. Not being wanted by the lady you love is one thing but not being wanted or loved by the one you consider your child must be painful.

At one time I too wanted them to be father-daughter in real sense. Now I don't think its necessary for him to consider Mini as his daughter to love her. He will love her anyway. I want him to accept her as daughter only when she accepts him as father.

Ok during puja when he declared himself as minis father he was doing it to reassure babita but what about the countless times he has called himself her father before mini. Or was he trying to get the father daughter relation going for babitas sake where as he was actually happy being HS uncle and she veerbalika for him. Or is he trying to explain to babes that not all relations need a name to be special. that inspite of not being father daughter he and mini have a special relation of their own.

Yes he was worried during hospital track and has cared for mini first untill the marriage, but not necessarily he did it as a father. He could do it because he just cared for her and loved her

Babita has been butchered as a Mother to justify Mini pain as she is Katha Kottage favourite now HS because as well as Katha Kottage loves Mini so we have Romeo Mickey waiting in the wings to take over from HS montage.

So PB is now based solely on cheating and deceit of Soulmate Love of Mini and Mickey. Who are so pure and honest with each other, hence the passionate hug with Mickey in public with Preeti present.

Happy endings.

Exactly... Even without hanita marriage Hannie were baap beti as per him just to assure her that taking a step forward is made think about Minni then by saying him Minni father in the Pooja was to make her assured about Hannie....

Given the fact that upcoming is all random HB romance and Babita ke headaches or whatever, HS-Mini ka issue will be wrapped up with one token scene of how their relationship doesn’t need a name.

That will be enough to make everyone “happy” for now and then on to next drama 😆

Father-daughter wala angle will be put on the back burner.

Waise toh many here predicted this as a possibility a while back but the execution is just severely lacking these days. 🤷‍♀️

He has been her father always, label it or not, but he's been a true dad. Don't know the other way round though.
