That’s not the point of the post/question. Whether she is a standard or reference is irrelevant. She has been a beauty standard for many Indians and companies for years now. And she started off her career thanks to her looks, not her acting skills. So to name her as an example of “average” is wrong.

More of those childish comparisons (I think I recognize this post from Twitter) and, of course, when it's convenient, referring to westerners' opinion, like they're the ultimate jury. Not to mention the selective approach, because guess what, one can find tons of YT comments which say the exact opposite or claim that Sri and Mads are so ugly as opposed to "beauties" such as Aloo. SMH

Both ladies inspire/d enthusiasm from western (and non-western) youtubers. Both were beautiful. Both radiated innocence and other things. And why wouldn't they? Innocence is fine, but surely we expect actors and actresses to project other qualities and emotions, too - right? Unless we love to behave like judgmental, sanctimonious pr*cks judging actresses only on the basis of how we perceive their sexuality - right? Each of them had something special going for them: Sri the eyes, Mads the face that looked great from all angles, and I'm sure people can mention many other features those actresses demonstrated. At any rate, to say they were average in the looks department is ridiculous. Heck, most of the names mentioned in this thread make me think: define "average" and "those posters don't even seem to know what 'pretty' is".

Someone’s beautiful is someone else’s average. Toh sab actress aa jaayengi is list mein.

well the original post was calling Alia the most ugly actress, so that Aloo line kyu bol rahi ho lol.

I find sridevi looks overrated and hyped. Also nose is fake and she got weird mouse voice after plastic surgery. Acting is good.
