Let me be as bluntly honest as I can be since this topic is sensitive and not discussed enough : I have seen a lot of people getting worked up over a lot of things here and from the moment I had joined I had seen a lot of denial and inacceptance to the point that it was clear things were getting bad for a lot of posters and their mental health.
Now,tough talk : if a show or character or anything fictional is affecting you so much,then you need to step back. A lot. Basic liking for a character or basic attachment is okay. But getting so emotionally invested in a show or what happens to a character that it affects your everyday functioning and mood is a sign that you should acknowledge nd take a few steps back and reallign your feelings. I feel it mostly happens to teens/YA who get easily attached and don't have set boundaries as to where to stop.
Its really not worth it to give away even the tiniest morsel of your mental health and general wellbeing and mood for an ITV show morever an Ekta Kapoor show. In retrospect,people will understand that lol. Just discuss and have fun. At the end of the day,actors are happily taking their paychecks and you'll be the one taking the sadness. Think about that.
