Actually a lot of half truths here due to omissions and generalizations namely that of Naveen babu track where Anu and Pre were friends and Pre fell in love with Anu way before mishka was introduced till Komo could be finalized. But then you have the right idea. No need in discussing things with those that have not even seen the show before B's entry....Rehneydhey....

The question is will Prerna be able to deal with a psychotic Bajaj when he turns his neurosis onto her!

The characters are all so interesting but you almost need a degree in Psychology to make sense of the characters in this show!

While there are similarities there are differences as well:

*Komo' obsession for A for shown as attraction and selfish..But B falling in love it open to all speculations which includes care for his daughter and nature of P...Hence B as "great family man" be given free pass by some viewers describing as grey/ more grey/ less white etc etc so much so you may need a SHADE CARD to decide what colour he is!

Apparently if you do it read B for family holds higher truth than for pure selfish reasons read K even if Obsession be of same level K' for A OR B' for P

*Komo was sharp enough or dumb enough to disclose her true nature to her sister, brother, father and later on with Moloy, Sharma head, even A knew indirectly..Here bajaj is more calculative and showed it his other true colours only to A as of now..This means he can play HIDE AND SEEK with near and dear ones as goody goody as GREAT FAMILY PATRON; stealing in deal other peoples' wife with impending pregnancy in more than one sided deal, recruit some more like mother-in-law, brother-in-l-law dunno where this expansion process of family stops.

At same time he can continue his SPLIT PERSONALITY DISORDER unleashing worse on his adversaries...Poor guy shall again be given free pass by some viewers because of his dark past; it is now an eye for another eye and hell it is justified! This also makes the character more layered, deep meaning because all your doing playing mind games with your family and the world making the world a more interesting place!

Komo did all because she only had power.

In short K was evil her reasoning were different read Selfishness, Power etc while Bajaj may come across as evil judging by acts alone but he should be given free pass because you know what he is doing it for his family and everything is justified under that umbrella!

But both Bajaj and Komo are fascinating in that they both display similar psychotic tendencies.

My post is not about which actor plays what character. I am not in the slighted bit interested in how "big" an actor is. Never seen or heard of any of these actors prior to this show! Although, I had seen Maasi before in a movie.

My post only relates to the similarities in the character sketches of both Bajaj and Komo. Almost as if the CVs are trying to repeat a successful track again.

You seem to be a huge fan of Bajaj, which is great! I was a huge fan of Naveen Babu!

Komolika was a different character, similarities are there in every character if we want to correlate.

Mohini's love for Anurag is obsession, Anurag's love for Prerna is obsession but Bajaj doesn't love Prerna as of now, what he sees is a family he never had and he is ready to do anything to get this family. I don't think he has made sexual advances towards Prerna like Komolika did with Anurag and Naveen did with Prerna.

I know if everyone believes that Bajaj is like Komolika then everyone can conclude despite being played by an actor of KSG's stature this character will end like Komolika's ended even though Hina was a bigger name than Parth and Erica.

One more thing is that Bajaj never said that he wanted to kill Anurag, at least I am yet to hear him say this dialogue

PS : Not against any actor, I can be wrong about popularity of actors, it's just that Hina is senior or not, don't know how to be politically correct here

I haven't seen Komolika's track so I don't know if she was actually psychotic because not every behavior is connected to a mental disorder. Komolika killed people according to forum members, if she was mentally ill then the case is completely different as these people have no control over their mind and this is why they are not held accountable for their actions.

I was referring to posts being made everyday to link Bajaj and Komolika, it was just a guess.

How can one be a fan of fictional character? Bajaj doesn't exist

Anyways, its kind of difficult to talk with peeps that are making judgments about characters without even having seen 2 thirds of the show yet so all of these are expected. Great that you have a sense of humor and able to laugh at yourself here. Loved how you handled that.

Not everbody has to watch a show from start to understand the basic characterization......insaan ki basic characterstics same hi rehte hain throughout the show in telivision world specially. And this is an entertainment show.......jisko jab interesting lage woh tab dekhe. Kisi ki sachi life pe tippani nahi ho rahi hain....ki koi part miss nahi hona chahiye by god. Ab nahi interesting laga two third of show toh nahi dekha.....hamari marzi....ab is mein bhi problem hain logo ko. Har cheez ke alag hi laws hain yahan. Bhai character hain.....situation hain....kya kar raha hain, hamein bhi samajh aa raha hain......whats with purana nahi dekha....purana nahi dekha. Itta boring laga tha when i last catched....to nahi dekha ....my choice....who gave right to people to comment on that.

I think Prerna warmed up to Bajaj after seeing his devotion toward his daughter - there is nothing more to her feelings for him - she thinks he's a good dad and perhaps by transitivity is assuming that he can't be a bad human if he's a good dad - wrong logic there cos even bin laden was a supposedly good dad :) ..but yea -

I think komo is going to be brought in only for Prerna to realize what Anurag is to her

New face komo might try to win Anurag ..Anurag plays along to make P jealous - P can't tolerate and then uncovers the truth - that she is komo ..she also figures Bajaj knew all along that she was komo .. so then it's reconciliation ..I can't imaging pulling all Kzk2 into generations ..parth and Erica will look hilarious as parents of growing kids etc ..I think they should keep it simple and wrap it up after anupre get together and baby is born!

and yes coming back to your original post ..i also feel baj and komo are very similar ..both trying to satisfy their selfish wants by hook or crook!
