Hip hop tamizha is one of my fav,"iraiva is my fav song" even though his singing is not great techniquewise,but stood out most cos of his talent and difference he brought in tamil music..introducing rap in song and that too in full tamil....lyricist+composer+singer-Adhi fits this category,so does mugenOriginally posted by: ramyvijay

Regarding his tweet/post about Mugen that someone shared here.. I wanted to ask him 'Idhellaam oru seyalaa' ?😆 ofcourse he has every right to express his view about anything or anybody... But why deleting it now just because you have enter this show and be part of supporting the one you criticised ?
Here is my 2 cents on this topic.. A singer need not be well versed in Carnatic.. there are many genres and each one shine in their very own talent.. To quote an example, I've seen HipHop Thamizha Aadhi saying that he doesn't know what is Charanam, Pallavi, Anu Pallavi when the director Sundar.C spoke about it for his first ever movie 'Aambala'.. adhu theriyala naalum onnum kutham illa.. he creates songs in his own style..
That's how few other super singers also topped irrespective of them not learnt proper music.. Diwakar, Senthil Ganesh , Poovaiyaar to name a few..
Mugen atleast has done his own musical albums and featured in it and famous in his country.. But I don't know who this Shenbagaraj is and how his singing will be...

Actually carnatic music teaches best technique,Best technique keeps your voice unharmed for a longer run...SPB is still singing cos he has a great technique,but you can see in west artist retire at early age cos of vocal damage(Bad habits+poor technique)..Hope mugen takes some training,cos he strained when he sang "needhan"
