Yeah.
I think the respect is there. She says so herself and she doesn't react badly to his accidental touches. She respects him enough to know he isn't going to harm her or sees her in a way that's uncomfortable. Point in question, when the hold hand touching waist thing happened, she firmly told she needs time to do these seemingly domestic and normal things with HIM.SHE. It wasnt even in her head that he was trying anything. That basic level of trust was there. Agreed - she's definitely made strides in this department, especially that scene where she reaches through the jail cell to pat his back reassuringly. She's made the no-touch rule null and void, and trusts him enough now to know he meant his words.
She respects him enough to appreciate the father he is to Kookie. But everything fell apart the moment it became Anurag vs Bajaj. There was absolute blind trust on one side. That is what the whole issue is and what Rishabh will get rid of. He has gotten rid of the blind trust, but as per Prerna's own words she could never stand against Anurag because of her love or whatever lol.
Prerna has this image of Anurag built in her head that is still a good man. All that ends the moment he shames her for the pregnancy track. All that trust which is the biggest obstacle for PreRish will finally go away. Rishabh has planted the seeds of suspicion already. YES! This! It's why I want the pregnancy reveal to happen, because the second A questions her, Prerna's entire idolization of him will come crumbling down. The fact that he would doubt her will basically make everything she was fighting for null and void.
Cause even slight bloom of attraction on her end cannot start till Prerna's image of Anurag is tarnished completely. Anurag is still the man she was set to marry and he has to completely go for Prerna to make space for someone else. No amount of physical distance will make this happen. Its the mental image of Anurag and his character that has to leave her being. Then she can give someone else a real chance at being her man. Yup I agree. She's painted Anurag as a good man who is having a hard time, and is excusing his behaviour because she feels guilty for not giving him closure. Her midn isn't hard to figure out, we know why she's being this way. And it's why she's still hung up on him because she is blaming herself for how he is now. Bajaj has told her multiple times to not blame herself, and he KNOWS it's her biggest vice, and THAT's what he's attacking now. The second A questions Prerna's integrity, her own guilt will vanish and so will the image of A in her head.
