Of Heat, Desires and Something New

This is my first post on this forum because Raghbir is seriously something else🤣

That entire initial sequence where Pragati is talking about ethics and he's like screw ethics do you want to survive or not?? OMG. Whoever writes this man's dialogues clearly enjoy themselves so incredibly, and Pearl has SO MUCH fun acting out Raghbir 😆 I can't stand this buffoon I love him so much.

Then the whole tripti sequence, aatma ko shaanti mili na as he makes her take a drink of it to feel warmer. I CAN'T. He's so ridiculous you can't help but root for him 🤣 Sarcasm, wit, a flower full of thorns that when you touch blooms beneath your tips. He's so damn much yaar. And then pearl's improv when Prags is singing the antakshri song and he's like nodding his head forward like a rooster OMG 🤣 Honestly who IS this man?? Just one of a kind truly.

One thing I love about him is how unabashed he is when he stares at Pragati. He lounges and makes it incredibly obvious that he's looking at her. There is so much heat, almost predatory in the way his eyes always follow her. He doesn't know what to do with her, and in turn he doesn't know what to do with himself because of it.

Their equation was on full display today, the way they tease, banter, want to eat each other's heads off but can't stand to be away from the other. The tick tick countdown as the other takes swigs of alcohol while trying to figure out a song, just perfect. You can just tell how much fun they all had with this episode, it was such a joy to watch.

But the way he offers his hand to her, the way he looks at her, as their song plays in the bg. G OD ☺️ The slow way his hand engulfed hers, caressing it as he refuses to take his eyes off of her. That was PERFECT. The whole time he's watching her and compelled she can't look away either.

And then the sequence changes and Laal Ishq takes over as he trails her wet skin slowly with her fingers. This man is the definition of heated, raw, male desire. But even when he's holding her he's so soft with her. There is no rough demand, no pushing, just soft touches, and that finger under her chin to lift her face to kiss her forehead??? UGH U GH UGHHHH. I love this man so much I'm gonna explode. He knows exactly what she needs. She needs softness and yearning and trust, and he is so slow, so deliberately slow to give it all to her because he wants her to want him in that moment. And when she closes her eyes, succumbing to him, giving into him, he closes his eyes as well, but then immediately retracts.

And once again he shows us why he's so damn different, he pulls away because he doesn't want to be unfair to Pragati. He wants to completely the erase the essence of the woman who isn't her, to give his ALL to Pragati. MY GOD! And then when he wakes and sneaks a picture of her, I love how much he doesn't deny what he feels. He watches her with a happy smile and she's so annoyed LOL. I love how quickly these two can switch from sensuous to hilarity. And ofc he pulls the cliche we totes did it in the sack yday BUT I LOVE HIM.

What a treat this episode was - especially when he voices his concerns in the precap.

HOLY. THIS IS THE BEST YOU HAVE EVER WRITTEN. And something I have enjoyed the most, coz I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely ADORE Raghbir. And just like you said, the dialogue writer is a big stud and he loves writing his dialogues, and PVP gets into RB's skin like anything.

And Randomly he switches to pure Hindi when he wants to make some ridiculous point. Koi bhi paristhiti mein, dieting mat Karna. I kind of figured he'd spout something ludicrous, didn't expect the dieting thing though. And gayab ho jaogi. 🤣🤣 I'd bang my own head in laughter.

And the Antakshri was the MOST fun thing I have ever seen on TV. The last time I had SO MUCH fun watching the male lead's antics was in Madhubala, and that was bloody seven years ago. His ridiculous facial expressions and exaggerated musical mood like he's some Tansen 🤣

And before that when he's like you can look at me, I am hot. So not modest. 🤣 Did you watch the Ganpati episode with the Punjabis, when the uncle asks him, how many packs or something and he's like I have six packs. 😆 A lot of male leads have excellent bodies, but this is the first time they are making the lead like, a closet exhibitionist. 🤣 Again, the last time I saw this was in Jodha Akbar the serial, but that's a period drama.

And then, when he sees Pragati changing, behind the curtain, they take intimacy to another level without showing much and on ITV it's a great thing.

And when she throws the vest at him, he says you also change, and she's like I don't have anything to wear. And, he said don't wear anything. 🤣

And the way they cheated on the game, and before that, when she said that's her favourite game, he was like. I am judging you majorly 🤣

The dialogue writer is sure as hell, going, the people conceptualising it are fun loving people, for sure, and those who do things hatke without compromising the ITV stereotypes.

The dance, and the kisses etc were crazy, so awesome, and I loved how he stopped himself. I mean I have read this in books when they stop themselves, watched it crappily on TV, but for the first time I loved it and no explanations were asked. No unnecessary apologies etc.

The morning after is classic DDLJ, but it never grows old. 😆 Sab Kuch ho Gaya, this happened in Kahan Hum Kahan Tum recently, and apparently that was funny too. Let's see what they show tomorrow.

I KNOWWWWWW omg he got me, he just got me. The way he is so unabashed about his own heart, how he feels, how much he loves her. He wants to do right by the woman he's married too. He wants to be able to live by her side, as her's only. There is so much righteousness in that and it proves like always that Raghbir's heart is always in the right place. He wants to be fair to her and he wants to love her in the way he knows she deserves to be loved.

And by the way, i would love to read something written by you on Praghbir, please! 🤗 Maybe something on the weekend 😎
