Regarding the jail scene, I feel we should wait for future episodes as things are still vague. Maybe he felt bad for Prerna. It could be a scene displaying his emotions at conflict. This character is damn complex.
I dont think its a last minute addition as well. It was definitely planned cause the sudden shift to Bholu Bajaj was very unbelievable. But as usual they took a very scamming the audience route. Like they built him up for sympathy because there must be a start to Prerna trusting him so this was it. But then took the fort down because if they did not, then Anurag would have to take all the blame. Which again something a lot of us suspected is too much of a risk for the HERO to take. So they did the next best thing. They divided the share of blame. Anurag did plan half + BajaJ his half and voila! 😆 Now both sides are at fault. Nobody is a saint.
But as with everything else, shoddy on their part to show him very sincere in his approach when it comes to being honest with Prerna. Because with the twisted mindset - In fact, he actually throws her into guilt tripping on a much higher scale if you think about it. When he does not tell Prerna about the video,he knows she's gonna feel so much worse when the truth about the plan is revealed. Which she does, she comes running. Now flip the game. He did not tell Prerna not because he wanted to earn her trust simply by being innocent. He did that because he wanted her to come back guilty. Its almost like the punishment he metes out to himself. He punishes her for not even giving him a chance. Its a lesson for her to give him the benefit of the doubt from next time around. Imagine 😆
A very complex character this man. Like I have been repeating. Many many layers of him. I wish the CVS handle with care.
