I was in China; I had internet access but just not to India forum. They blocked almost everything like Google, YouTube, Whatsapp, Gmail, etc except Chinese websites and apps.

I can understand dear.. My friend had just visited China and she also experienced the same prob.. she survived on 1gb data of an indian network for 20 days

My friend faced the same problem. She is doing Mbbs there and she faced more problem on food as she is pure veggie, even doesnt consume onion and garlic.

😆 That must be one torture to survive for 20 days on a 1 GB data. However, if she did have roaming access then she shouldn't have to suffer the same fate I did. We can have access to the outside world if we are on roaming network. It's just when you're using Chinese network then you cannot access international websites and apps. Also, if your friend goes to the big city then she might have better access than I did. I went to the Northwest of China which is still less developed. Which part of China does your friend go to?

I heard a lot of Indian people go to China for MBBS; I wonder why. Usually, VPN works just fine or so I heard from my Chinese friend. It's just now China is going to celebrate its golden week and 70th establishment of the Chinese Communist Party. Therefore, they're increasing the internet firewall security.

Which city does your friend go to study for?

That's what I meant she had access to 1gb on roaming network and was using wifi for everything else.. she had downloaded all chinese apps .. She went to an olympic village near beijing to practice in an academy and she had faced the same problems like you..

The answer of why is NEET, who torment us medical students very much and even haunts us in nightmares and the city is Dalian maybe or that's the name of her college I'm not sure.
