I agree people who still have not done full apology like ahmer's mom--I loved how Sadia just said salam ji to her not aunty or any thing.And how much attitude that woman showed her.

Umair was wronged too by Ahmer but he never apologized and he should have done that.may be in future he will .

I also feel Umair's biggest plus is his genuinity .He makes mistakes and accepts them.His heart is pure that is why I find him most intriguing character of the drama

No matter how drunk you get, you eventually remember even in bits of what happened. i know someone who didn't know the first two nights but by the third night it came back in parts. Umair kuch zyaada hi tha joh kuch nahi yaad aya. Unless he was slipped the date-rape-drug.

As for marks, pak serials forget to show burn marks so what more can you expect

I'm sorry if this has been talked to death, but I think the rape was basically used as a plot device to give Umair deniability about his fathering the baby. They could have shown it as one of those 'surprise viewers, his unwanted wife is pregnant' theme that so many dramas use, but then they couldn't have him in good faith refusing that the child was his.

I suppose they could have had him drunk and sad and Saadia pitying him which changes the nature of their relationship briefly, but I suppose that could be too complicated to explain in a drama when about half the people on youtube still didn't pick up on the rape implications.

It would have been nice if they had addressed it, because these are kind of serious issues that get swept up. But even the way they had Saadia reacting to it, I think the maker's want us to wave it off as well. And I'm not entirely comfortable with that.

Sadia reaction so was painful to bear. Come on after the brutal abuse by her dad they ended up showing showing her being raped by her husband too. It was the height of negativity.

He could have denied the kid being his even if he remembered the consummation Bec his theory was that she already was pregnant when he had nikkah with her..no need to show rape and he forgetting it..

They could have shown aaliya get unwell and then umair emotional, sadia would console him and they go all the way. Audience would have accepted it.
