What Naeem Bi said is true though. No matter how much it hurts, mothers have to toughen their hearts for the sake of their children's success.

For example, my brother lives an hour away from us for his studies and in January, I'm going away to Spain. She's going to be miserable in our absence but she knows that it's for our best interest.

Babita needs to learn this too and she can start with baby steps by allowing Minnie to stay over at Naeem Bi's some nights.

Ek baar woh severe emotional dependency khatam ho jaaye then it would be easy. And they're already slowly progressing. Now she sleeps without her and slowly slowly both can move towards independence.

I don't think such small measures would be required after say, 6 months? Both would be busy in their own worlds.

And btw, I think Mini's 18th birthday will unfold a huge chaotic drama.

I think Babita's lifestyle also played a huge factor in her emotional dependency on Minnie. Previously, she was just a housewife who's attention was literally devoted to taking care of the house and the people dwelling in it. But now that she has her own catering service, a large portion of her time can be spent there. Since she'll be busy with PB, she won't have to worry or think about Minnie non-stop.

I agree, dunno what that would be though. First, I thought it will be the whole CD thing or her break down, but given what might happen tomorrow, I doubt that's gonna take place.
