I was thinking the other day how they could have done justice to both Anurag and Prerna while Bajaj is here.
PreRish is a set track. They cant change that. But with Anurag,they could have shown a male lead on ITV that actually moves on,respects the girl's choice and is shown to be mature enough to continue with his life and take care of his family.
How refreshing would that have been! ITV lacks mature leads who are respectful from the get go.Either they are chauvinists and/or become a Majnu here so they could have set an example with Anurag, who had none of that baggage. This kind sweet shy educated gentleman actually moving on and keeping a distance once told would have worked wonderfully. He would have gotten everyone's respect and adoration.
His initial reaction should be devastation and desperation yes cause this is his first love its understandable but after a while he could have been shown as accepting it and letting Prerna go. He could still love her from afar but does not disrespect her wishes that he moves on and lets her go. They could have made Anurag an example of a great lead. What a lost opportunity.
