I think it is. Minnie was obviously not born when Babes was first married to Ashok so she had no way of knowing how they actually behaved around one another. And when she was born, and Ashok came to visit them, she was far too small to understand what was going on. Then, by the time she did start understanding things, Ashok had stopped visiting. Amidst all that, she only saw her mom as a victim and had her words to go by, not her actions. But now, as much as she wants, Babita can't hide. She and her actions are open to everyone's speculation and they're all seeing how wrongly she's treating HS.
