I think regarding the precap I have some theories .....
A) A didn't plan the accident but said he told the cops bajaj did it intentionally. As least P now will know the extent A is willing to go to get her.
B) A did plan the accident with the trio and we won't hear that scene play out till later and P just happens to catch a few lines but know A wants to get rid of bajaj.
