Loved ur analysis and it's almost same which came to mind....

Writers are too good in showing these type issues... It was quite visible that Babita is hiding behind the big mommy...

HS expected at least a normal talk. But Babita being Babita bus shartein rakh di taki raat bad nikal jaye.. She was worried for Minni.. But there was something else also going on in her mind...

Minni needs a serious help... Lala conversation added more fuel to it..

Thanks, yaar :)

@bold: Yes, she was worried for Mini but there were bigger issues in her mind than Mini that made her react like that. She mostly used Mini as an excuse to push HS away....to erect a wall that would keep him at a distance.

Kudos to Anirudh again for managing to convey HS ka hurt even in a few short dialogues and gestures.

Babita has retreated into a shell so she's going to come across as cold again.

Another thing worth noting.....Babita still deliberately using the upstairs kitchen....lol she literally is trying her best to stay in her comfort zone....pehle jaisa chalta rahe sab kuch.....stay in the upstairs room, cook upstairs....avoid facing your new relationship....Babita can be quite the escapist.

Fear makes people act in all kinds of ways.

I felt bad for Mini in the last scene with Laale....some big incident will deffo happen soon....maybe she wants to hear from HS himself again how much she is needed.....or atleast I would love it if that happens....I really want that relationship to be repaired....it's heartbreaking to see them like this.

Hey thanks....lol it's just the show that makes me think a lot....when the writing is in form, there are just so many shades to explore and analyze 😊

What other bigger issues do you think she has going in her mind?

But I like the kitchen upstairs better than the one downstairs. The upstairs one is bigger and is prettier. I would like for her to continue cooking upstairs even after everything's sorted 😆

LOL it's not about which kitchen is prettier.....if she continues to cook upstairs, there is a disconnect from the whole house....she's still retreating into her own seperate space rather than INTEGRATING the house.....aise toh nothing will have changed....they might as well be renter-landlord even now.....but he had asked her to become makaanmaalkin....of the WHOLE haveli....not just one part of it.

Her retreating to the kitchen she is used to shows that she wants to just stay upstairs and away from the rest of the house as much as possible.

Re: bigger issues.....details toh only writers can flesh out....but I sense bigger issues stemming from fear.....and it's not the fear of not being a good enough mother as those tweets and some promos tried to indicate.....it's fear of transition to being a wife to HS.....she isn't ready to handle it yet.

I get what you are saying about integrating the whole house. She can be a makanmalkin and start integrate the whole haveli now, but at the same time cook upstairs. I just like that kitchen better. I don't like the downstairs kitchen at all actually, like its so weirdly placed, and not enough space. But, I get what you are saying. Her sleeping in their room would actually be her integrating the haveli as well, and creating her own essence in the Haveli. Maybe being a makan malkin, she can open up more rooms, you know for guests and stuff, she can decorate the downstairs area to her liking as well.

Re: bigger issues - Yeah, I hope they divulge more into this. Intimacy is a big one I feel that she fears. Its definitely the transition to finally becoming a wife to a husband that cares and has expectations from her. Is she gonna be able to fulfill those expectations? Will she be able to handle some tribulations that comes with marriage?

@bold even I felt the same.. They both needs each other assurance right now very badly... then only things will workout... Otherwise babita apne darr ke chalte sab aur kharab kar degi....

Yes, her sleeping in their room would also be part of the integration....right now, the only reason the upstairs kitchen could be an issue is cuz it keeps her seperated from the rest of the house....it's off in a corner by itself....while the downstairs kitchen being in the main aangan gives it a more central location in the haveli, that's all....otherwise it's hardly a kitchen....bas ek small shelf sa hai.....lol

Anyways, these are the little things that can add up....she's deliberately keeping herself seperated from integrating with the whole house, and by extension, integrating into HS's life in all aspects.

That's the issue.....Babita isn't being able to see this marriage as a partnership yet.....where she can't just stay in her own world....she has to form a new world of equal halves with HS.

The way they both looked at each other in the morning....oof I loved that little bit, tiny as it was.....something about these two, they just really communicate well just from expressions....kuch bhi nahin bola but the pain and angst b/w them came through.....like they both wanted to reach out but didn't know how💔

I really really REALLY want HS to somehow fix this with Mini....yeah I know the martyr complex has been dragged out but I really want HS to sambhaalo her now.....I feel for his pain too but I think our kiddo just needs to be told that she will always be needed....uske bina yeh family kabhi ban hi nahin sakti.....
