I personally hate the comparisons to TVD because the delena ship is quite possibly the most mind numbing thing I've ever witnessed. BUT that being said, Bajaj has proven himself to be the least toxic person on the show 😆 Everyone has an image of him that is so rooted in the little knowledge he's allowed them to know of him. While everyone is telling Prerna that Bajaj is bad news, he's proven time and time again that not only is he a good man for her, he's just a good man in general.

I agree about the theme. I mentioned before that I'm a big fan of the second love trope, ala Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam types, which seems to be the way they're going with PreRish here. Sometimes our first love feels so magnanimous it blinds us to all, but there's always a reason that person is your first love and not your last love. She'll learn that through Bajaj, and thank God he's not anything like demon Damon. 😆
