I also think she was loved and admired for what she could do for Anurag, not for what she is for him. Mohini only loved her after Prerna helped Anurag out of jail. Nivi was the same, she only appreciated Prerna after the komo track. So it's that that she's stuck in. She keeps trying to do things to prove her love, to prove that she is worthy of him because she's fighting for him. And that pattern is what she's stuck with when it comes to the Basus. If she ever goes back to Anurag, it will be that pattern that's already been established, that will dictate the rest fo her life.
