Just watched the countdown scene again. Minnie was overwhelmed by what she saw in HS' eyes, but she didn't know how to respond or deal with the situation. Clearly she is not there yet where she has accepted him 100% as her father. The countdown was her little gesture to show him that he was important to her, that he was still her hero and mentor, whose teachings she continued to use in her daily life, a life that he had changed dramatically.
In that scene too, just as with the water tanker one, she had taken on HS' teachings about how to calmly deal with crisis situations. Yet she kept searching his face for a look of approval, the "all is well", the done deal look, but it was not forthcoming. His smile did not reach his eyes and she faltered ever so slightly there.
I think at that point they both wanted to resolve things just for Babita's sake. I don't know if this scene will continue to tomorrow but just as Minnie had hugged her mother, I want her to hug her Hanuman Uncle too. I doubt this will happen though, as it looks like there might be a distance between them from now on.
HS feels like he went from hero to zero in her life.
