Quite possible! But it's high time the story should be taken ahead. Otherwise it's so irritating that every episode either AR is visiting Aasavari's place or other way round... Every episode we get new dish... Today I wish there won't be any further discussion about पुरणपोळी मध्ये बदाम वाटून घातले की पूड करून ....

Every episode new dish would have been acceptable if that was the premise of the show. I agree that they are building the story towards Somya being jobless and in debt and Asavari bringing in the dough. They have already declared that Asa earned more than Shubhra and Somya combined income. Why are they hellbent on showing Somya such an obnoxious character? And Asavari and Maddy are shown complete nincompoops😕 Karkhanis couple helpless, Pradnya conniving and Shubhra oversmart.

In serials they generally prefer to present black and white characters.

Yes, they do and we have discussed this earlier. Its very frustrating to watch extreme characters like this in every other serial.

Pradnya, her in laws, maddy, Soham, aajoba, aajoba var line marnari aaji, Shubhra, asavari and even Abhijeet for that matter are all extreme characters.

To be honest, tyanchyatla to to extreme guun kadhun ghetla tar te exist ach karnar nahit.

Though I am critical of the extreme characters and the stretched episodes, I still feel this serial is much more sober than most others which are currently running. One good aspect is the balanced way in which they have shown the relationship between Shubhra and Asavari. Asavari, who is totally dominated by Ajoba and Soham, is sometimes assertive with Shubhra and Shubhra listens to her. At other times Shubhra is assertive and Asavari does not mind. The interaction where Shubhra kept on asking Soham why he had not informed his mom about AR's visit, finally gives up when she looks at Asavari's disapproving look is an example. More often than not, this sasu suun relationship is shown in extremes with one always dominating the other.

Completely agree! Just switch on the TV before 5 minutes of AS and we realize this one is far better... Even with Soham's attitude, Pradnya's over acting, AS is still bearable. It's true the main difference is the positive relation between Aasavari & Shubhra. Also, there's only taunting, no plotting ( कटकारस्थान).

But still there is a scope to make this as the best. The subject it self is different, they just need some more creativity.

Yes it's true that it is better among current running serials. I haven't seen alti-palti or BMP but i don't have any hopes about them. Both new serials team visited CHYD this week and i expect AS team would be there soon.

Though chilly fest is going into 3rd episode we are tolerating only because of magic of GO. Tejashree's regular interludes with audience is getting on the nerves now.

I so agree with this. I mean tujya kade Kahi bolayla asel tar aamhi aiku Tari, Kahi harqat nahi. Pan garaz nastana, ugach dolyache ishare irritating vattat.
