I watched the scene and I'd like to echo the popular opinion. She wasn't being repulsive to his touch. She reacted in that manner out of frustration and sorrow. This scene was in accordance with their relationship status and showed the progress they have made.

I know it's the cringefest that's not letting people enjoy such scenes to the fullest.

Here's the thing about being Rishabh Bajaj.. it's that you know that in the end you married this woman for a reason. You did it with all your cards played at the right time. All the chess moves aligning for checkmate, because you can't win the game if you don't have a queen. But this is arguably the woman who he stole. He ripped her from the life she was ready to embark on, the love, the happiness that was all destined to be hers, no longer hers for the taking. He rode in on his dark horse, gathered her up into his arms, and they fell where the earth shattered beneath them.

She has no one. No one who will believe what she's done in the name of love. No one who could understand her b*stard heart that just knows how to love and love and love, and not how to receive it. His eyes wash over her and he wants so much to hold her up but he can't because he knows he's the cause of her anguish. And then look at his face when he lifts his eyes from her, he locks his jaw again and closes his mouth. No words being enough in this moment. So what does he do?

He lets her blame him. He lets her yell, pin blame, take out her agony and anguish. Because he knows no words can give her what she needs, he lets her take everything that's killing her and lay it on him. Because he knows, as the only person who truly knows her now, that she needs this in order to move on from it. She needs someone to blame, she needs to yell, she needs to take out the weeks of pain she's been in, and he lets her. He becomes the source of hurt he already is for her, because its the only way he can offer her comfort without words.
