They've made Prerna so unrecognizable. It's so obvious these writers HATE writing for this show. WHY ELSE would they torture themselves, the actors and us the audience in this way??
Crash and Burn. That's how I see them. If this were a better show, if story was KING, I would've wanted her to be the siren to his depravities. The woman who brought out the darkest parts of him and understood him on a twisted level. The drug you shouldn't want. The poison that resides in your veins. I want that casual, easy flirtation between them. That banter you share on the dining table while you sharpen your blades under the covers so you can slit each other's throat. And I want Prerna to question him at every step, and I want him to introspect at every moment. ( I mean it will be extremely hard for me not to ship them because such visceral dark stories are my jam and honestly I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DEPRAVED, SELF-SERVING, and UNABASHED characters. Self-pity is my biggest pet peeve in ANY character.) I think by the end of this track we could have a man who has finally emerged from the shadows of his former self, finally defeated the demons and phantoms who haunted for years on end. Yes yes yes to all the bolded!!! If I weren't already adding Menaka into my FF, I'd seriously think about writing a new one just entrenched with these three. But I don't have the time or the capacity LMAOOOO. It TAKES TOO MUCH OUT OF ME. Especially when this show gives me nothing to work with on a daily basis. The muse is swinging low.
What's fascinating is that we know Rishabh to ruthless and vindictive, and to do things merely because it pleases him to do so or because he can. Menaka is the siren call to that side of him, the vices he holds dear but only unleashes when he needs to. Prerna is his morale and moral compass, a constant north star to guide home. Both are equally seductive, both holds are equally suffocating. Menaka has known him longer, perhaps known him in a time where he wasn't the Bajaj we know him to be now. And maybe she's had a direct hand in building the parts of the man we know to be his darkness. This could be the best love triangle ITV has ever seen BUT ALAS LOL.

Gosh IKR? I guess we'll end up frustrated with everything but this is EKTA. So I've stopped expecting LITERALLY anything from this show a long time back.
