The writers are doing a shoddy job but I don't think that's because of Ekta maata.

She didn't say to write a bad story. She had made it very clear that Prerna-anurag love each other, they get married to different people, pre falls in love with bajaj but still AnuPre will always have a soft corner for each other

This was the core plot which probably must have been conveyed to the writers.

But the writers are interested in retaining both the fandom and that's why they are doing this ping-pong.

The only person I am feeling bad for here is Parth the actor and Anurag the character. Parth is so talented and writers are trying to reduce him to a second lead.

Our AP had a wonderful love that was innocent yet strong...it did not degrade or humiliate or lie. Our AP were strong enough to hear each other's truth without having to resort to filthy lies. They were each other's strength, not weakness...AP's love helped them overcome obstacles, not create them, their love made them rise and succeed for each other's sake, did not make them stumble and fall to the depths of insanity and obsession.

Yes, they spoilt it later to accommodate RB, but even in their worst moments, you couldn't doubt their love for each other.

Even a consummate Rishabh Bajaj fan like me could feel their love, used to feel bad for Anurag...such was the depiction of their love...it was just beautiful.

This! The execution was so beautiful that RB fan could feel sympathy for Anurag and AP/Anurag Basu fan would truly believe that Bajaj is the best husband for Pre, though they wanted A and P together.

Such were the times then. Not that there weren't fights between both the fandoms. There were too many but both the fandoms understood the importance of the other .

Unlike this season, where AnuPre fans cannot understand why Pre has to be loyal to Bajaj and similarly RB/ksg fans cannot understand why Pre is still emotionally connected to AB.

They don't want to loose any side of viewers this is why I think so playing ping pong 😆

Earlier season it was easy for them to choose actor personal problems and rr screen presence worked.

Here every one has equal fandom even though I only see Karan but truth is truth people watch it for parth also. So it's a flix...

Probably yes but how is this even helping them out? Theyr e even losing out on loyal trp audience too... They really need to pull up their socks and decide at once. Otherwise the end is near and I would love to see the day soon

Thanks for your unbiased opinion 🤗

It is our fault for thinking we would be shown something different when this was always marketed as a remake. I guess we all became too invested in Anupre forgetting that somewhere down the line Prerna would marry Bajaj and their love story would begin.

It wasn't promoted as remake but a reboot where she promised that it is show for current generation. Also who said we didn't know Bajaj would come and marry Prerna. We know and we have no issues.... issue is with the inconsistency and the whitewash where every wrong deed is been shown as the biggest favour to the mankind. Do you think we as audiences would accept anything served to us? Sorry for me I don't accept this and I will disagree with things that are wrong.

Does she really have a problem with institution of marriage ? I mean in which generation she lives and which generation she thinks her audience lives.... both these are two different eras I suppose she should try to understand that audience won't accept this in today's times😛

I'll reply to others later but please avoid discussion on season 1 here. The topic is regarding the mindset of the writers while writing this show and not how season 1 was better or worse than season 2. So please confine yourself to the topic.

Thanks 🤗

I agree...there is a lot of inconsistencies, esp in the character of RB...I mean, sit down, take a deep breath and THINK...what do you want him as? A villain, a wronged hero, a morally ambiguous man on the road to redemption...think and then write accordingly!
