In a way, yes? After all, it was Minnie who led Babes out of the Khurana house and helped her in every little thing afterwards. Finding a home, standing up for her against Khatri, helping her find a job, opening the catering service, even pushing her towards HS - Minnie has had a hand in everything.

As you said, Babes is just learning how to open up. She's not there yet. That's why until she's able to do so, Minnie steps in. I hope she doesn't grow a savior complex where she feels like she needs to solve every single problem there is.

Yeahh, but it was expected in a way. Regardless of how nasty Khatri is, he is still her husband. I still believe that Kammo was hurt by everything that was being said against him, but also how Babita chose to loop her into the same insult.

Yup. Their love is respectful but also unconditional. Their daughter comes first over everything, even them. Besides, this marriage would have just tied them together legally. Even if they did end up not getting married, it wouldn't stop them from supporting each other and helping one another out. Plus, unlike what society thinks, their main motivation for this wedding isn't based on how they will operate with each other in physical terms. The connection they have is soulful. What is this fascination with Mickey like he is God's gift to Mini. He is a cheater and he should go back to his Family. Suddenly he is full of wisdom regarding Mini and her Mother.

Where was all of this wisdom when he was 2 timing girls and still doing it now with Preeti and Mini. He is Preeti Boyfriend who he took up with when Mini was not interested in him. Same behaviour as before. After the wedding I want Mini to tell him to only meet her when Preeti is there.

He is the one putting ideas in her head about separating Babes from her herself and get independent. It's not what people are saying but what he keeps on telling her is playing on her Mind. I liked how she told him yesterday not to interfere in her relationship.

But seriously comparing him to HS is crazy.

so there will be insecurity in mini's mind. specially as this coincides with babita and HS loving each other and getting married.

Good or bad, he is my husband and I will support him even if he's wrong- that's the reason people like khatri exist. They have this sense of security that their wives are never going to leave them no matter how low they sink.

That's why they were saying that in a way Kammo did it to save her marriage, even if she knows he's wrong. She's changed a lot but hasn't become strong enough to leave him and have an independent life.

ok she can just say i support my husband whatever he is saying is right. why add extra layers to it by saying that mini is a bad reminder of ashok to babita & that hanuman used mini to get to babita. that was very low of her IMO. So much venom for a 17 year old kid. she was much worse than khatri today

Totally agree but in a way him doing it could be seen as trying to prove a point to people and in a way to Minnie, rather than doing it because that's what he wants. I'll be very impressed if these CVs have the guys to go in this direction, because adoption of an almost - adult is unheard of on ITV, as far as I'm aware.

I am really hoping this doesn't go the Amar Prem way either. Also, I think HS has picked up a faint scent of this, based on the look on his face upstairs. He may not know what exactly is going on but I think he felt something was off, unless I read him completely wrong. He also noticed her concern when they talked about the mann ke gaanth. I have a feeling his words about putting Minnie first will mean he may not be doing much of the typical newlywed things as he focuses on her mental health. I have a feeling a breakdown is imminent for Minnie, and seeing her in that state we will be very painful to HS. I think back to his words about no women crying in the haveli anymore and very soon that is exactly what might happen. Babita will be upset about Minnie's state and seeing then both like this will be quite hard for him.

This time, though, he will have the security of being officially a father and a husband in their family which will in a strange way empower him to make decisions on their behalf and forth him too.

One thing is for sure. If Hanita spend less time without other after the wedding to focus on Minnie, it will only put more pressure on her and perhaps make her feel guilty about being a third wheel.

The reason Khatri and Kammo got away with saying what they did today was because HS and Minnie still have a little further to go before they truly become father-daughter, not just in their family but also to society. I don't know if this is going towards her calling him father soon as the wedding happens. I hope not. It's too early for that. I do think that Minnie's track has the potential to lead to them finally accepting each other.

What I did like was that finally there was verbal clarification by both Babita and HS to each other and especially to Minnie that she would always some first. There was even the non-verbal "hope you understand that you'll be second, ji" to each other as they exchanged looks.

And now he's going to have full authority to act as her parent officially. I thought he would have murdered Khatri today if he could.

When her depression was diagnosed a few months ago, he couldn't sleep at night worrying about her. Can you imagine now when it resurfaces? I really want them to deal with it properly this time and give this track the attention it deserves. It will also provide Hanita even more opportunities to bond as co-parents as well as a married couple.
