Stars who became superstars without big banners and family ties

Akshay Kumar- without any ties or dharma and yashraj banner this guy has earned his fame threw unknown banners and has continued to survived for almost 30 years.

Govinda - this guy natural talent has made him a legend that he is. It is thought David dhawan made his career, but David dhawan wasn’t a big name director before shola shabnam. One of the most legendary entertainers in Bollywood.

Shahrukh Khan- it is believed yashraj has made srk what he is today, but before his film with yashraj, he gave his career breakthrough blockbuster in deewana and Baazigar which didn’t have big name banner, his talent attracted the banners and made yashraj even more powerful banner that it is today.

Ajay D and Akki are going steady and consolidating,because they didnt depend on big banners and top heroines.Since they started off doing action films,they never needed heroines to tell their story,unlike romantic heroes..

Their trajectory is actually a whole lot more admirable than those mentioned above except perhaps that of Akshay.

Even John survived in the industry for so long without any major contacts with inner circle. Though Bips did help him during his initial days.

I think the SRK affair was in PC's mind, and I don't believe her stature is big enough to put her in the same league as Sri or MD or SRK or Akshay...ie, she is not a SUPERstar.

Having said that... she had no EMA. SHE was never married during alleged affairs. The men (if one or more of said affairs happened) were the married ones.

Don’t you know Deepika’s father was so well connected with BW biggies that she got her first movie right before she was even born? She never modeled or had to star in Himesh’s song.

Nope. not at all.

Bazigarr was released just few weeks before YASH CHOPRA'S Darr, so he had the backing of yashraj right from the start. before that he had a second fiddle role in deewana and also in the flop king uncle to jackie shroff .

Indeed this irritating hammer, the extremely annoyingly over-rated srk is the POSTER BOY of 2 big banners YASH RAJ and DHARMA' camp. (needless to say he single handedly murdered the credibility of awards...everyone knows this).

Almost 85-90% of his hits r from these two big banners only with which as I stated b4 he got stuck like a parasite to get the easy success in form of similar formulatic romantic films (few were exceptions).

darr, ddlj, dtph, kkhh, mohabbatain, k3g, khnh, VZ, kank, cdi, rnbdj, mnik, jthj.... prominent and biggest hits of his career from ONLY 2 BIG BANNERS. take these films out of his filmography and he will left with not much.

Note that after Yash chopra's death, aditya not directing him anymore and kjo disowning him, his real aukaat came out in open in form of his flop stints since last one decade.

So plz, do not give the credit to the UTTERLY undeserving one.
