Right. It reminded me of my sister more because my sister also got married recently and i totally get the whole gota ka tantrum. Seen it 😆. Babita looked so cute. Paridhi has a beautiful laugh 😊

Surely with a lot of anguish and guilt. Without proper guidance, his mind must have accepted that women are meant to be kept inferior until Imarti came along.

I don't think his father ever felt remorse for any of his actions. He kept his drinking habits while Imarti was alive and while I don't think he hit her, he surely must have verbally abused her or mistreated her in some other means.

I really hope they remain in the heads of the audience in general so that the message about the evils of domestic abuse sticks. It's high time women and children stopped suffering because of it.

Yes!!

People need to see how abuse inflicted in childhood doesn't just stop at childhood. It gets carried through into adulthood and goes on to effect people in a myriad of ways.

@sanam912

I think while Imarti was in his life she elevated it to such an extent that he enjoyed pure bliss and happiness, as though life had made up for all it had deprived him of. Her death through all that info question again for him, including what happened to his mother. That is why Imarti was so worried about who would look after him after she was gone, and had implored her father not to leave him all alone and bereft. Unfortunately that didn't happen and his pain compounded. She definitely knew everything.

Imarti would never take such abuse and HS wouldn't let his father do it either.

What was that strange look HS gave Babita as he slowed down while dancing? Was he worried he will hurt her the way his father had hurt her mom, or was he still wondering if he was capable of giving her the happiness she deserved and was so clearly looking forward to as she danced without a care. She was shedding her inhibitions slowly but what was she literally coming home too. I had a feeling he was thinking about how his mother must have once arrived there as a bride with her dreams just like Babita had with Ashok and was now starting to dream again with him. The end of the episode proved me right. This haveli had not seen such happiness in a long time, would it last? The dialogue during the balcony scene about him not wanting history to repeat itself in terms of mother-daughter suffering like his mother had - when I heard it I knew it was the starting point/anchor for a new track about his mother at some point.

I couldn't figure out either .. on 1st & 2nd watch it felt he was genuinely in awe of her seeing so happy and dancing .. on 3rd watch it felt like anirudh .. on 4th watch it felt as if the poor fellow was just tired of dancing and watching Babita dance .. on 5th watch is when I felt a look of worry on his face..

after multiple watch I can say something was bothering him .. and that's what CV wanted to touch upon .. bringing Babita into his haveli as the DIL ..

HS can't dance sala. 😆

Sachi kya? I thought he can dance .. because I saw him dance similarly during holiscene .. he is pretty nimble footed though

The last few minutes were pure gold. Finally his repressed memories are being addressed. Social conditioning by his mother that men don't cry, his mother trying to raise her voice but getting beaten more by his father for supposedly complaining to his grandfather, him keeping quiet as a kid so as not to make things worse for her but his adult self cannot stop blaming himself for not taking action and helping her escape her misery. In those few moments his whole life story was written on.his face, in the transition from nostalgia to fear to regret, to a whole bottomless pit of dark emotions. Unfortunately it was too short a scene! Aniruddh was just fantastic there. I'm running out of adjectives for this guy.

Was waiting for his emo layers to unravel .. I haven't enjoyed any of the pre-wedding rituals as much as I did last 5 mins ..

What a trauma in the childhood can do to an adult .. the pain is beyond any words .. the pain that he went through is making him overprotective towards his daughter and Babita .. he wants to save Babita from the pain/torture that he couldn't save his mother from ..

@BOLD: 👏👏 short of everything infact for this guy ..

I was right that he was a naughty kid but what a shame his innocence was brutally destroyed in his childhood. They never talked about his father passing away so I wonder if he will make an appearance.

I want him to appear and be ripped apart .. and as much of confrontation I would like between him & his father .. I want the ripping apart from his 2 girls ..

What a master stroke in revealing the other rooms in the haveli and its dark secrets! Perfectly done. Totally worth the wait and endless speculation. 😉 With the wedding arrangements not only was the haveli decluttered take space but it also started revealing things that were previously masked or hidden.

Agree .. the haveli couldn't have revealed it's hidden skeletons any better ..

Glad it's not Imarti's but his mother's room. It's better for Imarti and Maan's relationship to be kept completely separate from Hanita's, at least until Babita's insecure. She is the makaan malkin now so one day she will learn all its secrets, and with them understand her husband better and better. She needs to know about his childhood trauma at some point and to figure out to.what extent it affects him even today.

I said in my earlier post .. that it was Babita who will get to enter that room and not imarti .. He was not in the space to have let imarti touch that part of his heart .. But today he is .. and with the help desk of his daughter he will be able to let Babita enter that dark space of his .. This healing process of his will be her growth too

The look on HS' face as he touches Minnie's cheek in the pre-cap - so much love, trust, and shared understanding, implicit empathy, especially around both having daddy issues. He has just given her access to her late grandmother's legacy the way he gave her access to Imarti's. Yet another milestone in the father-daughter relationship, and Minnie taking on even more of her father's side's legacy, not all of it pleasant. At first, based on BTS videos I felt it was weird that she wanted to decorate it, but after watching the episode it takes on.a whole new meaning. Minnie knows about his mother and his emotions attached to what happened to her, how it shaped. She can't express it but she knows the significance of the room and the trust with which he hands over to her the keys to another part of his past yet again. It is indeed very special because she has moved yet another step closer to her father and knows the weight of his trust in her and his immense love for his daughter that enabled him to take this step - just when you think these two can't get any closer, they take it to yet another level.

They both are hamdard of each other - pain that their mothers went through at the hands of their fathers .. It's amazing to note that until now he has helped her find solace for her mother through him.. and now she will help him find solace for his mother .. through Babita .. perfect matrimony ..

Once more I'll say I love Naeem Bi. She understands him so well. She was witness to the abuse too and a victim of abuse herself. I would like to know more about her story too.

It would be interesting to know but I don't know if CVs would delve into her backstory like the main leads

The last few minutes of the episode captured the essence of several years of trauma. Can't wait to see how more is revealed about his past. Just as with the Imarti track this will be mind-blowing as well.

It will equally traumatizing for us as well .. if not any less

He cannot and should not forgive his father but he should learn to forgive himself for his mother's torment and eventual death.

True, such people feel no remorse ..

HS - I don't think he did anything wrong with her .. else he wouldn't have kept such fond memories of her, locked up and not letting anyone else touch those memories either

She lived upstairs. It was theirs, I guess.

Besides, opening up that room is a plot device to further the story as well.
