"Part 16"
"Kanyadan ke liye vadhu ke pitaji aage aaen", Pandit ji's casual call for the bride's father made Anand sad. He hadn't been successful in convincing Rakesh to let go of his ego and attend his daughter's wedding and the sudden murmurs across the mandap added to his misery. "Lagta hai Rakesh bhaisahab nahi aane vaale. Vaise sahi bhi hai. Ye prem vivah ab har kisi ko to nahi jachta na", one of the neighbor's said to her husband sitting by her side. "Are lekin apni beti ke kanyadaan ke liye to aana hi chahie na. Ye kya baat hui ki baap ke rehte hue bhi kanyadan karne ke liye vo maujood nahi hai?" came another voice from some distant relative.
"Ji vo Naina ke pitaji to yaha hain nahi. Kya aisa nahi ho sakta ki Naina ka kanyadan uska bada bhai kar de?", Bela chipped in to save her daughter further embarrassment.
"Kisne kaha mere papa yaha nahi hain. Mere chachaji ke hote hue mera kanyadaan Arjun bhaiya kyu karenge? Mai mere chachaji ki beti hun aur vo hi mera kanyadan karenge. Pandit ji aapko isme koi apatti to nahi hai?", Naina spoke up unable to understand the reason behind her family not asking Chachaji to perform the ritual.
"Dekhiye muhurat nikla ja raha hai. Jab vadhu apne chachaji se kanyaadan karwana chahti hai to isme kisi ko kya apatti? Pandit ji replied asking everyone to hurry up.
With tears brimming in his eyes, Anand stepped forward to perform the ritual. When he placed Nainaâs hand on top of Sameerâs, he felt content and guilt free at the same time. His daughter Naina had given him the right to do her kanyadaan, then why should he feel miserable over Rakesh bhaisahabâs absence. Also, he felt pity for his bhaisahab for never understanding his daughterâs worth. Any father would feel blessed to have a daughter like Naina and his elder brother never understood that God had granted him the biggest blessing in the disguise of Naina. It is said that kanyaadan is the greatest gift any man can give and yet his bhaisahab chose not to be a part of this special moment. He wished that some sense prevailed over his elder brother soon.
After the gathbandhan was done, Pandit ji asked Naina and Sameer to stand up for the pheras. With every phera and the associated vow, Sameer and Naina took one step ahead towards their new life. Their promise to stay together through thick and thin was reinforced through the saat pheras they took around the sacred fire. When pandit ji was explaining the significance of each vow, it was not only Naina and Sameer who were listening to him intently but some other people too, the people who had found love recently. Pandit-Preeti and Munna-Swati stealithly looked at each other every now and then with their eyes twinkling in anticipation of living this moment soon. Also, they were in awe of the happiness Sameer and Nainaâs faces beamed with clearly reflecting what these vows and pheras meant to them.
Once the pheras were completed, Samaina were asked to be seated again âAb vadhu ko sinddoor aur mangalsootra pehanaiyeâ. Preeti moved forward to help Naina with the maangtika while Sameer carefully applied the sindoor.
Sameerâs VO: Vo waqt itna khaas tha ki uske bare me batane ke liye mere paas shabd kam pad jaate hain. Aisa lag raha tha jaise jannat agar hogi na to vo isi pal me hogi. Vo mahaul vakai hi me bohat pyaara tha. Jab maine Naina ko sindoor lagaya aur mangalsutra pehnaya, tab mujhe ehsas hua ki ab se Naina sirf meri hai aur use mujhse koi dur kar nahi sakta. Vaise sach kahun to mujhe kisi aur baat ka hosh nahi tha, mai to bas apni Naina me khoya tha. Duniya se koi lena dena nahi tha mujhe us waqt. Bas mai, meri Naina aur hamari shadi ka vo pavitra bandhan.
âAb aap dono vaivahik bandhan me bandh gaye hain. Apne nado se aashirwaad le lijiyeâ, Pandit ji declared as the rituals were completed. Naina and Sameer took the blessings of all the elders starting from Nananji.
âAb to bhabhi officially hamare bhai ki ho gayiâ, Munna and Pandit shouted together.
âHaan bacchu, ab agle number tumhe dono ka hi hai. Islie thode bade ho jaoâ, Nanu patted their heads lightly while Preeti and Swati blushed thinking about their future.
********************************************************************************************
Naina glanced at her home one last time before Vidai. She was leaving the place where she had spent 24 years of her life. The idea of not staying anymore in her own home was heart wrenching. Leaving behind her chacha chachi and Preeti was certainly not an easy thing to do but she had to do it in order to begin her new life with Sameer.
As she hugged her chachaji, tears started rolling down her cheeks. âNahi Naina, rona nahi hai beta. Meri beti khushi khushi vida ho ke jaayegi apne ghar. Samjhi?â Anand wiped Nainaâs tears while struggling hard to fight back his own tears.
âBhagwan jhooth na bulae, bilkul sahi keh re hain tere chacha jiâ, Bela caressed her face lovingly and Naina hugged her tightly.
âOye mai bhi hun. Mujhe bhool gayi. Abhi to sasural pohnchi hi nahi aur mujhe bhool bhi gayiâ, Preeti joined in the hug. âBhabhi mai bhi to hun, mujhe bhi to hug karo. Preeti didi ki tarah aap mujhe bhi bhool gaye?â Deepika who was confused wondering why was everyone crying, took the opportunity to remind her bhabhi of her existence as well. Her innocent remark lightened up the atmosphere and everyone smiled through the tears. âAree aapko kaise bhool sakte hainâ, Naina and Preeti said in unison and Preeti scooped her in her arms.
Arjun, who was standing at one corner, came up to Sameer âMeri Naina ko hamesha khush rakhna Sameer. Mai jaanta hun kehne ki koi zarurat to nahi hai lekin bhai hun na kya karunâ. Sameer nodded in understanding.
âAur aap bhi hamesha khush rehnaâ, Naina came forward and embraced her brother. âMeri bilkul chinta mat karna aur man laga ke cricket khelna. âBaatein to aise karti hai ye ladki jaisi bada mai nahi, ye hainâ, Arjun patted her head.
Nanaji turned towards Anand and said âAb hum chalte hain Anand ji. Aur aap bilkul chinta mat kijiye, hum apni beti le kar ja rahe hain. Ise kabhi koi takleef nahi hogi.â
âNanu hum bas 5 minute me aayeâ, Sameer held Nainaâs hand and guided her upstairs leaving eevryone except Nanaji and Anand confused. They both had understood what Sameer was up to. Sameerâs small gesture left both Nanaji and Anand teary eyed. Nanaji felt proud of his grandson seeing him valuing his relations to this extent while Anand felt proud because time and again Sameer had proved that nobody could love Naina more than him.
âSameer ye kya tareeka hai. Kahan le kar ja rahe ho. Aise accha nahi lagta naâ, Naina asked. âPapa se milne ja rahe hain hum. Maana ki vo gussa hain lekin hum apna farz to nahi bhool sakte na?â He rang the bell as they reached in front of Taijiâs flat while Naina looked at him in awe wondering how he always managed to read her heart. âNe vaah, aa gaye dono. Ab kya karne aaye ho? Shaadi to kar li bina hamari marzi keâ, Beena started shouting as soon as she opened the door and saw Samaina.
âAapka, tauji aur papa ji ka aashirwaad lene aayi hain taiji. Apni zindagi ki nayi shuruat hum apne bado ke aashirwaad ke bina kaise kar sakte hainâ, Sameer replied politely.
âAgar itni hi parwah hoti na to meri marzi ke khilaaf shaadi nahi karti ye ladki. Chalo jao dono yaha se. Mera tum dono se koi rishta nahi hai. Na aaj hai na kabhi hogaâ, Rakesh who had woken up to the commotion, warned them both. âPapa parâ, Naina tried to speak but Rakesh cut her in between âKaun se papa? Tujhe to apne papa ki yaad bhi nahi aayi kanyadan ke waqt. Aur tune hi to kaha tha ki Sameer se to shaadi mai kar ke hi rahungi. Is kal kea aye ladke ke liye apne baap ko bhula baithi. Tune kar li na apne man ki. Ab mai karungaâ, and Rakesh slammed the door in their face.
âMujhe pata tha yahi hoga. Meri vajah se papa ne tumse bhi itne bure se baat ki. Kyu laaye tum mujhe yaha?â Naina asked Sameer, sobbing. âKyunki puri shadi me tumhari aankhe unhe dhundh rahi thi Naina. Aur mai meri Naina ko aise udaas nahi dekh sakta. To kya hua agar unhone aise baat ki to. Gusse me hain na abhi vo. Aur tum hi to kehti ho ki gusse me insaan kuch bhi keh deta hai bina soche smjhe. Aur ab khud hi apni baat bhool gayi?â, Sameer tried to console her.
âNahi Sameer ab hum dubara nahi aayenge yaha. Maine bachpan se chachaji ko meri vajah se beizzat hote dekha hai Papa aur taiji ke haathon. Ab vahi sab mai tumhare saath nahi hone de sakti. Ab hum yaha nahi aayenge fir kabhiâ, Naina said firmly. âPar Nainaâ, Sameer tried to make her understand but Naina had made up her mind âMai kuch nahi sunungi. Chalo ab. Nanaji aur baaki sab intezar kar rahe hongeâ.
As they descended downstairs, Chachaji looked at them with hope in his eyes but Sameer gestured him for otherwise. Leaving aside his disappointment, he asked Arjun to accompany Naina to her sasural as was the ritual. Naina hugged Preeti, Swati and Shefali again and sat in the car to embark on a new journey of her life.
******************************************************************************************
"Shefali., aap is waqt kyu ja rahi hain. Subah jab Naina pagphere ke liye aayegi to use mil ke chale jaana", Arjun kept her suitcase in the car as he was asked to drop Shefali to the railway station.
"Actually parso mera interview hai. Abhi ki train lungi to kahin jaa ke kal shaam me pohnchungi. Subah jaane ka risk nahi le sakti. I am sorry meri vajah se aapko itni raat ko takleef uthani padi", Shefali replied as they both settled in the car.
"Are takleef ki kya baat hai isme. Aap Naina ki itni acchi saheli hain. Ye to mera farz banta hai. Aur vaise bhi itni raat ko kahan koi auto milega. Interview hote hue bhi aap itna waqt nikal ke Naina ke liye aayin to mai itna to kar hi sakta hunâ. Shefali smiled in return and Arjun drove off towards the station. The next 20 minute of journey to the station was marked by silence. Not knowing what to say to each other, both preferred to remain quiet.
âAap yahan rukiye mat. Aap chale jaaiye. Train bas aati hi hogiâ, Shefali said to Arjun as they entered the station and walked towards the platform where the train was supposed to arrive in 5 minutes.
âJi nahi. Aise nahi ja sakta main. Mujhe pata hai aap bohat strong ladki hai. Lekin aapko train me chadhe bina nahi ja sakta mai. Aur 5-10 minutes ki hi to baat haiâ, Arjun replied.
âAapse ek baat kahun Arjunâ, Shefali asked in a slow tone not knowing how he would respond. As expected, her question was received with a nervous nodding by Arjun.
âAap bohat acche insaan ho. Naina ka aur apne papa ka itna khayal rakhte ho. Lekin aap itna dar ke kyu jeete ho? Thoda khul ke zindagi jeeyo. Apni marzi se zindagi jeeyoâ, Shefali asked Arjun.
âAapse aisa kisne kaha ki mai dar ke jeeta hunâ, Arjun replied, not meeting her eyes.
âAccha to jab maine aapse kaha ki mai aapse ek baat kahun to aap itna nervous kyu ho gaye?â Shefali looked at him and continued âAur abhi bhi udhar dekh ke jawab de rahe ho.â
âNai aisa kuch nahi haiâ, Arjun looked towards her.
âArjun, apne man se ye guilt nikal do ki aapne Naina ke liye kuch nahi kiya. Ye guilt aapko andar hi andar kha jaayega. Naina to aapko itna maanti hai. Jitna time ham saath me rahe hain usne to mujhe bas hamesha yahi bataya hai ki uske Arjun bhaiya kitne strong hai aur uska kitna khyal rakhte hain. To fir aap aisa kyu sochte ho?â Shefali asked.
âKoi strong nahi hun main. Bachpan se papa ne jab bhi Naina aur mujhme bhedbhaav kiya, mai kabhi unhe rok nahi paya. Meri behan ko tauji taiji jab bhi taane dete the, choti choti baat pe thappad lagate the, mai unhhe nahi rok paya. Jab papa meri har choti se choti achievement pe jhoom uth te the aur Naina ki har badi se badi achievement par bhi use kabhi shabashi tak nahi dete the, tab mai apni behan ke aankho se behne vale aansuno ko rok nahi paya. Agar mai accha bhai hota to meri behan ke hisse ka haq to nahi cheentaâ, Arjun replied in a low tone. Talking to someone about the feelings he had hidden since long was a new thing for him but this was the first time someone had tried to understand his point of view. And hence he couldnât help himself opening up to Shefali.
âMai nahi jaanti ki aapne bachapn se kya kiya hai ya kya nahi. Lekin mai itna zarur jaanti hun ki apane Naina ko kabhi koi dukh nahi pohnchaya. Aaj jab uski shadi me aane se uncle ne aapko mana kar diya tha, tab aap unse lade aur Naina ki khushi ko sabse upar rakha. Bachpan ki baat alag hoti hai Arjun. Shayad tab aapme vo samajh nahi thi. Islie aap ye guilt apne man se nikal do. Agar Naina ko pata chalega ki uske bhaiya ye sab sochte hain to use kaisa lagegaâ, Shefali tried to put some sense in Arjun. âAur haan apne sapno ko kabhi marne mat dena Arjun. Aapne apne papa ke aapke liye dekhe hue sapne ko hi apna sab kuch maan liya hai. Mai aisa nahi kehti ki ye buri baat hai. Ye bohat acchi baat hai ki aap apne papa ko itna maante ho lekin is sabme apne aap ko mat kho dena. Us Arjun ko mat kho dena jisne Zindagi me kuch sapne apne liye bhi dekhe honge.Ek hi to zindagi milti hai hume. Use bhi agar aap aise beeta doge to fir fayda hi kya. Ye waqt agar beet gaya na Arjun to fir kabhi wapas nahi aayega. Zaya mat karo ise. Ek baar, sirf ek baar khul ke jeeke dekho to sahi, ye duniya bohat pyaari lagegi. Aur agar ek baar khud ke liye jeena seekh liya na to fir kabhi vapas is mod pe nahi aaoge. Lat lag jaayegi us khushi ki. Kasam seâ
Arjun was dumbfounded as he failed to understand that how did this girl know so much about him. Before he could say something, he saw the train approaching the platform.
âI hope aap meri baton par ek baar to gaur zarur farmaengeâ, Shefali picked her suitcase and proceeded towards the train.
âShefali aapko ye sab kaise pata chala. Aap to mujhe jaanti bhi nahi hain fir jo raaz maine apne dil me itne waqt se dafan kar rakhe hain, vo aapne kaise padh liyeâ, Arjun walked behind her.
Shefali turned around and smiled, âAapki aankho me dikhta hai Arjun. Islie to keh rahi thi ki aap bohat acche insaan ho. Jis insaan ki feelings uski aankho me itni saaf dikh jayen, use saccha insaan kaun ho sakta hai?â
âAur mera naam Shefali hai janaab. Aise hi thodi aapki behan meri fan hai. Btw Isse pehle meri train nikal jaaye mai chalti hunâ, Shefali winked and boarded the train.
As Arjun waved Shefali a goodbye, he kept thinking about the conversation he had with her and felt as if a heavy weight was lifted off his body. He felt unusually calm and thanked Shefali in his mind for unburdening him from the guilt which was sickening him since forever now.
Nainaâs VO: Vo kehte hain na ki kabhi kabhi koi ajnabee aapko itne acche tareeke se samajh leta hai jitna aapke apne bhi nahi samajh paate. Yahi to hua tha us din Arjun bhaiya ke saath. Arjun bhaiya ki zindagi ka vo ek turning point tha. Shefali di ki seekh ko unhone aise atmasat kar liya ki aap soch bhi nahi sakte. Mere Arjun bhaiya jo har choti se choti baat pe duniya bhar ki tension le lete the, unhone khush rehna shuru kar diya tha. Aur sabse badi baat apne liye jeena shuru kar diya tha. Us din ke baad Shefali di aur Arjun bhaiya kabhi mile nahi lekin Arjun bhaiya ke liye vo hamehsha ke liye unki prerna ban gayin. Sach hi kehte hain sab, zindagi me kaun aapko kab kya sikha jaaye, kuch khabar nahi hoti.

*****************************************************************************************
"Hamari Naina chali gayi ji. Mujhe to abhi se ye ghar uske bina kaatne ko daud raha hai. Aise lag raha hai ki bas abhi vaha balalkani se bhaagte hue aayegi", Bela said to Anand as they both entered Naina's room.
"Haan Bela, sahi keh ri ho tum. Betiyo ke jaane ke baad ghar itna soona ho jaata hai ki itne saare rishtedaaro ke hote hue bhi kuch khalipan sa lag raha hai", Anand replied as he sat down on the bed.
"Accha ji, mujhe to bahar aap dono ye sikha rahe the ki baccho ki tarah rona band karun aur khud yaha pe dono aansun baha re ho vo bhi itne mote mote. Kya mummy, kya papa? Naina ko bilkul accha nahi lagega jab mai use ye sab bataungi to", Preeti walked into the room.
"Bhagwan jhooth na bulae, kyu baategi tu Naina ko ye sab. Aur aankh to bhar hi aati hai. Tu dadi amma ban na band kar. Samjhi",Bela gave her a light smack on her shoulder.
"Ouch. Mai to na bas maar khane ke liye hi bani hui", Preeti rubbed her arm. "Are ye kya rakha hai study table par", Preeti walked towards the table as a white paper kept neatly beneath the pen stand caught her attention. "Letter, Naina letter chodh kar gayi hai", Preeti wondered recognising Naina's handwriting.
âChitthi. Kya likha hai isme padh to zaraâ, Bela said.
âMere pyaare Chacha ji chachiji
Mujhe pata tha ki mere jaane ke baad aap dono hamare kamre me hi jaoge. Aur mujhe ye bhi bohat acche se pata hai ki aap dono is waqt kya kar rahe hoge. Vo preeti ki bhasha me bolun to khoob mote mote aansun baha rahe hoge". Preeti took a pause and looked towards her parents who cheekily wiped their tears.
Aap abhi yahi soch rahe honge na ki mai aise ye chitthi kyu likh ke gayi hun. Chachaji chachiji, ye chitthi islie kyunki aap dono ke saamne kabhi ye sab keh nahi paati. Mai nahi jaanti ki mai kin shabdo me aap dono ka shukriya ada karun. Mai jaanti hun ki maa baap kabhi is thank you ke liye apne bachho ke liiye chize nahi karte. Lekin mujhse raha nahi gaya. Aap dono ne meri zindagi ko sanwara hai aur mujhe har tarah se layak banaya hai. Aap dono ne mere liye jo bhi kiya hai, vo bhi bina kuch jataye, mai kabhi nahi bhool sakti. Mai nahi jaanti ki maine aise kya acche karam kiye the jo aap dono ka pyaar mujhe mila. Mai bhagwan se din raat bas yahi prarthna karti hun ki mujhe har janam me aapki beti ban ne ka sukh mile!
Mai jaanti hun abhi aap dono ko na mujhpe gussa aa raha hoga ki mai ye saab baatein kyu kar rahi hun. Koi bat nahi, ek bar ka gussa to mai jhel lungi. Aur promise aaj ke baad dubara ye sab nahi bolungi.
Aur haan Preeti tu yahi soch rahi hai na ki tere barre me to mai bhool hi gayi. Haina? Nahi ji. Jaan hai tu meri. Naina saans lena bhool sakti hai lekin Preeti ko nahi. Tere liye to ab maine apna kamra bhi chodh diya. Ja, jee le apni zindagi!
Aap sab ki pyaari Nainaâ
âYe Naina bhi na, aane do isko ji. Ek thappad lagaungi na, sara thankoooo bhool jayegiâ, Bela wiped her tears with her pallu.
âHaha Bela, tumhari beti ab kisi ki patni ho gayi hai. Ab to Sameer use thappad khane nahi dega tumhareâ, Anand replied, teasing her.
âAur kya mummy, ye letter to vaise bhi typical Naina style letter hai. Jab tak royegi nahi, lambe lambe dialogues nahi maaregi aur dusro ko nahi rulayegi, Naina ko neend thodi aayegiâ, Preeti joined in the banter. Preetiâs remark made everyone laugh while deep down they all thought of Naina and her thoughtfulness which always left them all touched.
**********************************************************************************************
âWelcome bhabhi. Aapke ghar me aaj officially aapka swagat haiâ, Pandit, Munna, Rohan and Deepika all said cheerfully as they opened the entry door to the Maheshwari Sadan while Naina smiled at their enthusiasm over her arrival.
Nainaâs VO: Sameer ke ghar mai pehli baar nahi gayi thi us din. Lekin uski biwi ban kar apne ghar me jaane ki baat hi kuch alag thi. Aisa lag raha tha maano mai koi sapna jee rahi hun. Lekin vo to haqeeqat thi, khwaabo se bhi jyada khoobsoorat haqeeqat. Mujhe pakka pata hai jaise us din mai ghar ko dekh rahi thi na, sabko laga hoga ki ye ladki kaisi buddu hai. Apne khud ke ghar ko ghoor ghoor ke dekh rahi hai. Lekin mai to us pal ko apni aankho me is tarah kaid kar lena chahti thi ki meri yaado se kabhi vo pal dhundhla ho hi na.
Vishakha guided Naina and Sameer with all the rituals the newly wedded couple was supposed to perform. When finished with all the rituals and the pooja which was to be performed by the new bride in the mandir, Nanaji came forward and asked everyone to accompany him to his room for seeking Sameerâs naniâs blessing.
âAakhir tumhari bahu aa hi gayi. Ye bilkul tumhari chavi hai. Mujhe pata hai aaj tum jaha bhi hogi, zarur khush hogi kyunki tumhare laadle ka saath nibhane vali aagayi hai. In par hamesha apna aashirwaad bane rakhna taaki ye zindagi ke safar me jab bhi dagmagaye, ek dusre ke saath se dubara khade ho jaayenâ, Nanaji looked at his wifeâs photograph with love. Sameer and Naina took Naniâs blessing and Naina prayed in her mind to Naniji to give her the strength to never fail Nanuâs expectations.
A few minutes later Nanu handed over the keys to the house to Naina, âAaj se Sameer aur ye ghar tumhara.â
âPar nanu,â, Naina tried to resist but Nanaji replied firmly , âDekho beta, ab tumhe hi dekhbhaal karni hai sabki. Meri retirement ka waqt aagya hai. Aur agar Sameer ki nani is waqt yaha hoti na to vo bhi yahin karti. Islie mana mat karoâNaina couldnât help but accept the keys. She was scared on being bestowed with such a big responsibility but the moment Nanu took Naniâs name, she knew she had to do it. She could never understand why but she always felt a strong connection with Sameerâs nani despite the fact that she had never met her. The love and warmth, with which Nanu and Sameer always used to talk about her, had made that connection stronger. She wanted to be like her, so she had to accept the responsibility whole heartedly.
âAccha papa ab aap aaram kar lijiye. Itni der ho gayi hai. Infact ab sabko so jana chahie, Subah jaldi uth ke kuch rasme aur bhi karni hainâ, Vishakha announced to everyone.
âHaan mumma bohat neend aa rahi hai. Aur aaj to mai bhabhi ke saath soungi aur bhabhi mujhe kahaniya bhi sunayengi. Haina bhabhi. â, Deepika jumped in excitement.
âNahi beta. Bhabhi thak gayi hain na. Aur vo to aaj pehli bar yaha aayin hain. Unhe aaaj aaram se sone do. Naina kal tumhe acchi acchi kahaniya sunayengiâ, Vishakha said to Deepika.
âNahi nahi nahi, mai to bhabhi saath hi soungi. Bas. Bolo na mumma ko Sameer bhaiyaâ, Deepika now turned to Sameer knowing very well that he would never go against her wish.
To say that Sameer was shocked to hear her demand would be an understatement. While Sameer thought of ways to change Deepikaâs mind, Munna, Pandit and Rohan tried hard to suppress their laughter. Unable to find any genuine reason to make Deepika change her decision, Sameer gave into her demand âHaan mumma. Koi problem nahi hai. Naina ke saath hi rehne do na use. Haina Nainaâ, Sameer looked towards Naina who nodded in approval.
Bobby chipped in to handle the situation âAccha bhabhi se khanaiya sun ni hain. Maine to socha tha ki aaj Deepika ki favorite story sunaunga use. Ab Naina ko to vo story nahi hi aati hogi na. Par chalo koi nahi, ab hamari princess ki jo marzi hai vahi karenge hum.â
âPar uncle, favorite story to favorite hi hoti hai. Nayi story thodi favorite ho sakti haiâ, Munna said in order to help his friend.
Deepika who was confused by now, looked at her father and her bhabhi one by one, unable to arrive at any decision. After vacillating for long, she finally decided to go with her father â Papa aaj na aapke saath hi so jaati hun. Ab bhabhi thak gayi hain na aur mai to acchi bacchi hun. Mai kisi ko tang nahi karti.Islie aap vo hi vaali story suna dena.â While everyone laughed at her smartness, Sameer looked towards Bobby who smiled at him in return. Though he hadnât done anything big becaue it was not a huge deal if Deepika would have slept with them that night but his step fatherâs genuine involvement in his everyday life was a welcome change for him.
Vishakha escorted Naina to her room while Munna and Pandit left for their respective homes. After wishing everyone a good night and making sure that nanu had taken his medicine, Sameer walked towards his room.
***********************************************************************************************"
âYahi se Sameer har raat chand ko dekhta hoga na", a smile crept across Naina's face as she looked at the moon from the window remembering the nights she and Sameer had spent away from each other with their only companion being the moon itself.
"Tu dulhan ban kar mere ghar aayegi, is khaab ne muje har raat jagaae rakha to tha;
Par mera ishq kuch aisa mukammal hoga, ye is dil ae naadan ne socha na tha;
Jee karta hai bas tujhe dekhta hi jaun,
Tere ishq ke rang me kuch aisa rang jaun ki duniya kahe aisa aashiq humne to kabhi dekha na tha."
"Mr shayar Maheshwari, itni taiyarian biwi ko impress karne ke liye? Kamaal hai", Naina teased Sameer.
"Ji nahi madam, ye abhi abhi socha hai. Vaise bhi tumhe to mai impress kitne saal pehle hi kar chuka hun. Vo to biwi ki khoobsoorati dekh ke dil pighal gaya", Sameer took slow steps towards Naina.
A blush appeared on Naina's cheeks as Sameer inched closer. He gently held her by her waist and pulled her towards him "Kab se is pal ka intezar tha. Hayeee mujhe to pata hi nahi tha tum dulhan ban ke itni khoobsoorat lagogi. Sachi keh raha hun Naina, mera bas chalta na to vo sare reeti riwaz minto me khatam kara ke tumhe ghar le aata". Placing a light kiss on her cheek, Sameer murmured against her skin "Vaise mai bhi kaisa buddhu hun na. Kyu baatein kar ke time waste kar raha hun". As Sameer eyed her luscious lips, Naina felt her knees go weak. Reminding herself of the things she had planned to discuss with him, she turned around in an attempt to free herself from his hold. Sameer who had very well anticipated Nainaâs action, was too quick to let her go. "Nainu dekho ab tumhari marzi nahi chalegi. Ab to shaadi ho gayi. Ab kyu dur ja rahi ho?" Sameer hugged her from behind and kissed her neck lightly.
"Mujhe tumse kuch puchna hai Sameer islie", Naina replied in a whisper, unable to keep her emotions in check.
"Is waqt kya puchna hai, Mai nahi bata raha kuch. Kal puchna job hi puchna ho", Sameer hugged her tighter.
"Are nahi na. Zaruri hai kyunki vo Shefali didi keh ri thi ki", Naina tried to speak but was interrupted by Sameer who had started to get annoyed by now " Shefali didi? Is waqt tumhe Shefali didi yaad aa rahi hai? Kya Nainu, apni suhaagraat pe koi kisi aur ki baatein karta hai kya?â
âTum to chidh jaate ho hamesha. Bas ek baat bata do fir pakka promise mai kuch nahi bolungiâ, Naina replied innocently, knowing very well how to handle her Sameer.
âTheek hai pucho. Lekin dur nahi jaane dunga. Aise hi puchna padegaâ, He slowly pulled off the dupatta from her head which posed a big hinderance to him in his endeavors .
âAise hi? Accha theek hai. Vo na Shefali didi ne bola kiâ, Naina shivered in his arms as he sucked her earlobe. âHmm bolo kya bola tumhari didi ne?â
âYe ki na kiss ke alawa bhi bohat sara kuch hota hai. Aur unhone mujhe bataya bhi thoda thoda. Aur ye bhi kaha ke tum sone nahi doge mujhe." Vo sachi bol rahin thi?â Naina finished her question quickly as Sameerâs touches were creating havoc inside her.
Sameer moved away from her and starting laughing âNainu tum seriously ye puchna chahti thi? Matlab sach me? Aur Shefali ne tumhe ye bola ki mai sone nahi dunga tumhe. Kamaal hai. Mujhe kabhi kabhi samajh nahi aata ki tum dono itne acche dost ban kaise gaye? Use sab pata hai aur tumhe kuch bhi nahi?"
âTum has kyu rahe ho. Jao mai nahi baat kartiâ, Naina sat on the bed grumpily. âSubah Shefali di aur Swati has re the ab tum. Tum sab bohat bure hoâ.
âSorry baba sorry. Vo bas aise hi hasi aagyi. Aur mai tumhara mazaak thodi uda raha hun. Sachi. Vo to Shefali ne tumhe kya bataya ye soch ke hasi aa gayiâ, Sameer kneeled down and sat on the floor facing her. âVaise usne aur kya bataya tumhe?"
âMai nahi bataungi tumhe. Aur tumse puchungi bhi nahi. Aur tumhe paas bhi nahi aane dungi. Dekh lenaâ, Naina replied.
âAre baaba, lo kaan pakad liye. Itni badi saza to mat doâ. Sameer took Nainaâs hands in his and said âNainu, maine is pal ka bohat besabri se intezar kiya hai. Mai aisa kuch nahi karunga jo tumhe accha na lage. Lekin tumhe mujhe bharosa karna padega. Bas mujhe aaj rokna mat. Tumhe tumhare saare sawaalo ke jawab apne aap mil jayenge.â
Naina looked at Sameer whose simple gesture of stroking her hands was invoking certain unknown responses in her body âTheek hai. Nahi rokungiâ.
Seeking her approval, Sameer made her sit comfortably on the bed. He leaned in and kissed her lips slowly. Naina responded by pulling him closer to her. Sameerâs hands began exploring her petite frame. As he touched her, Naina felt her body awakened to certain desires which were hitherto unknown to her. She didn't know how but her body was reacting with equal passion to each of Sameer's touches. Soon, the clothes which formed the only barrier between them were taken off. As Sameer entered her, Naina felt a bittersweet pain engulfing her body. Seeing her in pain, Sameer decided to withdraw but Naina held his hand, signaling him not to go away from her. Sameer again lowered himself upon her and sank as deep as he could go. As they made love, their bodies danced in the rhythm of their love, responding to each othersâ touches with needs they had never known before. They both reached the climax together and Sameer fell on her side and took her in his arms. Sameer whispered a soft I love you in her ear and kissed her forehead. They looked at each other with their eyes speaking of promises of never leaving each otherâs side.
Nainaâs VO: Vo pal mai kabhi bhool hi nahi sakti. Mera haath Sameer ke haath me tha aur saath hi meri puri zindagi aur uske saath aane vala har pal. Pyaar bhare lamhe aur khatti meethi takrare, mujhe uski aankho me apni aane vali zindagi saaf dikh rahi thi. Sach kahun to us raat jo ek acchi zindagi dene ka vaada maine sameer ki aankho me dekha tha, aaj meri zindagi use kayi jyaada khoobsoorat aur haseen hai. Vo hawa ka jhokha jo kabhi ek jagah nahi rukta tha, mujhe bhi apne saath baha ke le gaya tha aur mai ek patte si uske pyaar me bas behti chali gayi.
