You know this wedding is reminding me of both my sister's weddings... every day was a new siyappa... till like the last day we wondered if the guy was right for her... and on my other sister's wedding my brother in law came to me and was laughing and saying 'is banday ko pata ni h ubi ko mili ki h... 2 din badh sir peetay ga...' my sister was/is spoilt! But weddings turned out to be perfect and marriages too... they're both happy... the point being... lao siyapay... it is only the siyapas that make weddings fun!!

P.S since we are talking about the realistic wedding will Lovely turn out to be that naraz phupo/relative on every wedding?

Yes, exactly, with Poonam she will be able to share her feelings... that maybe she's nervous or self-conscious, and of course there's a lot of awkwardness between them as well. Also, they both bring baggages to the relationship. I want a nice talk between the girlfriends 😊. Poonam giving her insights and encouraging her to initiate it maybe 😳

Hahaha yes, Nanads are always a problem. Gosh even I remember. Every wedding has this one relative who's pissed off and is extremely dramatic cum problematic. So so real it is!

I remember, weddings are a huge chaos. People are angry, crying, pissed off yet the atmosphere is happy and jubilant. Now that you mentioned your story, this reminds me of mere ghar ki close wedding. Some siyappas are really huge and messy but in the end, it's all perfect.

And and, even at that time, we were all tired of preps alone. Initially it dragged but then suddenly the wedding day was there and then it was all so adrenaline rush types!

I wonder if Babita will be seen proud and happy to see the difference between Ashok and HS after marriage too. As in, she was conditioned to be a certain type of wife for Ashok. She was basically expected to give herself completely over to her husband. That's probably how Minnie happened.

Ashok even commented to Mita during their suhaag raat that it was different for him and Babita. The creep.

I wonder if, though subtly, they will break another mental shackle of Babita this way with HS.

That will actually be very interesting to see. For babes a getting intimate was her duty. There will be so many times she didn't want to but was obliged. and the person ashok was he wouldn't have considered babes feelings. With HS, it will be different. But will she still want to get intimate Bcz she has to or Bcz she loves me. Ashok has crushed her self esteem as a women. Will she be comfortable with getting intimate or she will want to but the scars ashok gave will be hindrance. Or will be guilt ridden of not being able to surrender herself to HS
