it is very symbolic. as kukku and ex bonded well , so she kept ex's hand to prerna on absence of his father.
ok it could be in future after bajaj's death (death will happen for sure) kukku , will pursue prerna to marry ex . it is will be repeated as for kukku bajaj marry prerna , now it is second term to reunite Anupre through kukku. so it will happen. it today indicated that. and probably bajaj will reunite them brfore death .
but the next level twist is , Prerna left the arti and during arti time she was with bajaj and atlast bajaj and family did arti together. that means in this time , prerna will be more attached with bajaj for many incident. she may be reunited with anurag in future but that time she will bajaj's prerna , not anurag's . and it is high chances by hook and crook ekta will bring back ksg (at least i want to believe that) , cos ksg khud bola he now wants to work among all in TV , web series and move similarly. so i want to belive he will come back .. later prerish ka permanent kahani shuru hoga. cos ekta will never ever take risk to change bajaj , otherwise she easily could change komo.
