They have to pay royalties for using songs, if it is 'on-goodwill' they can use it only for the episode. International ke liye permission nahi diya hoga.

Also even when they upload online, they remove the songs.

I think upto a few seconds they can play the song without having to pay. There are very strict rules about it.
