Akki is the best when we talk abt comedy movie genre .. Hera pheri, garam masala, welcome.. All these movies are masterpiece.. No one can beat his comic timing.. His facial expression when he does 'Aeyyy' of ranjeet - still makes me laugh.. I dont think any other actor can give such a brilliant expression which looks tharki+ hilarious at the same time.. He is an exceptional actor when it comes to comedy movies..

It's not good performances that he lacks. It's iconic roles, which is why he still isn't considered in the same bracket as the Khans.

Aamir has Raj, Amar, Munna, ACP Rathod, Bhuwan, Rancho, PK.

SRK has Ajay Sharma, Rahul Mehra, Raj Malhotra, Devdas Mukherjee, Mohan Bhargava, Kabir Khan.

Salman has Prem, Sameer, Radhe, Chulbul Pandey, Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi.

Akshay has given some great performances, but you can only pick Khiladi as something memorable. It's about creating great characters and Akshay hasn't yet. Hera Pheri comes the closest but the movie is all about Baburao Ganpatrao Apte.

but he still havent given a performance that you could say.. 'damn thats great acting'

SRK, Aamir, Hrithik, Shahid, Ranveer, Ranbir have all given those type of performances

No one does comedy the way Akshay does...Bhagham Bhag, Hera Pheri, Heyy Baby, Housefull 1 and 2 (coz 3 sucked) and who can forget Bhool Bhulaiyaa. This still makes me ROFL 🤣

He lacks iconic roles...but then isnt that the case with comedy films in general? Govinda too has given some big hits in the 90s, his work in Coolie No. 1 was hilarious but comedy is an underrated genre, it doesn't get the same recognition as drama, action etc. Which is ironic, since it is the most difficult genre to perform in.

His comedy movies are the BEST! He’s a show stealer and no actor IMO beats him in this regard. I loved him in BB, hera pheri, garam masala, mujhse shaadi karogi and any priyadarshan movie. Honestly I wish he would go back to that.

Ajnabee. Still regard it as his one of the best performances.

Akshay was very good in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Special 26, Baby, Yeh Dillagi.

His comedy films are damn good.
