Welcome back Madhura!!! 😊
Since I agree with everyone partially or completely here, I am not quoting anyone and directly writing what I feel.
Piya isn't a complete white character. In fact, in case of Adi, she is the biggest culprit. Because they proceeded with divorce like a normal couple and Piya could have easily applied for joint custody. Back then, she took the decision as a hurt wife and not as a mother. So I do want Adi to question her.
But about being hypocritical or hiding the truth, I have different opinion. Piya didn't hide anything. She told Ansh multiple times that she didn't attack Makshika but Ansh refused to believe her. When she left the house she didn't know she was pregnant. She didn't want to hurt any of the family members with her powers back then. But when she said she would return with proof, Ansh blatantly replied proof didn't matter as long as there was power. She fixed the meeting with Ansh and before she could tell him, Ansh left the place. Now yes, she could have screamed the truth out, which she didn't and I blame her for that. But in this whole fiasco Ansh played bigger role than Piya.
Coming to powers, is there any guarantee that Pari would have been accepted by Ansh? Right now it's too easy to point fingers at Piya for separating Pari from her family but let's talk about Ansh. If he had blamed Divya for attacking him, I wouldn't have blamed him. Because she did use Adi to get to him. But at the beginning he told he had no qualms about it because he knew Divya wanted to eradicate the evil force and she was right in her stand. Within one day, when things didn't go as planned, he resorted to saying Divya wanted power and Piya too had taken after her mother. When in fact Piya practically had given a part of her life force to Ved to save her life. We can assume Ansh would have accepted Pari. But a person who could change his outlook so fast, there would always be the probability of him berating Pari if by any chance, her power endangered anyone.
We know PiyAnsh are the leads so sooner or later they will reunite.
But if we think about it in a real life scenario, right now Piya doesn't owe Ansh anything. So why should she clarify when he is still stuck wherever he was 6 years ago?
I had earlier referred to a confrontation scene that they had showed in Krishnadasi. There Aradhya had cried, begged, vented out her frustration and then had beaten Aryan for breaking her heart. She literally kicked him out of her house when he was begging her to give a chance to explain the situation. I was expecting Piya to do something like that. But after today's episode I don't feel like that anymore. Because deep down, Aradhya knew Aryan loved her and she still had some right on him to vent out her frustration. And even though Aryan was helpless there to betray Aradhya, he knew he had wronged her and accepted whatever Aradhya was throwing at her. They still had that much of trust between them.
But does Piya have that? 6 years have passed but Ansh is still more interested in pointing fingers at Piya. Why should she cry her heart out in front of someone who doesn't trust her? Why should she show her weakness in front of him who isn't ready to see anyone or anything beyond himself and his fake pride?
Parents should keep their personal lives aside and do what's best for their kids. But parents themselves are human beings. Besides, God forbid if I were in this situation, I would rather bring up my kid as a single mother than introducing her to her unstable father. It's painful now but if Pari ever got to know that Ansh hated powers and that was the sole reason for PiyAnsh's separation, she would be devastated. So it's better to keep her away from Ansh than breaking her heart and making her feel unwanted.
Piya is wrong but at least she has moved forward and tried to ensure Pari's happiness. Ansh has been there for Adi but he has brought him up as a scared. little boy who had to seek help from outsiders as his own dad and family members didn't believe him.
People can commit mistakes. Some learn from it and some keep repeating. Piya did wrong to Adi but she evolved as a person and ensured Pari's safety. Ansh was wrong back then to separate Adi from Piya and even now as his ego is bigger than his son.
So I don't blame Piya for hiding the truth from Ansh.
Adi may blast him. He has every single reason. But honestly, Pari doesn't have a reason to do that.
