She is going to get immensely jealous and badmouth her. That is when HS will break. Because I got the feel that HS can digest insults hurled at him but he will not keep quiet if anyone insults Imrati, no matter who that person is. There is a reason why makers showed the HS Imrati love story in such detail.

Honestly, after seeing HS Imrati, I don't want Hanita. And now after Babita's behavior, I feel HS is better off single. Let Babita do whatever she wants.

Of course, it was significant. As was the fact that their last major fight was when Babita tried to use Imarti's name. Even the other day he didn't want her to touch the photo frame or move it. I don't know if she will badmouth Imarti but her jealousy will make her say or do something in her bid to test HS' love and loyalty. Her insecurities about being in second place will also factor in and after a point he will either pull a Rhett Butler or he will tell her exactly what he thinks of her, especially in relation to Imarti, which would break her streak of arrogance and ego.

I will also not be surprised if she resents Minnie being his first priority one day.

I wouldn't rule out Hanita long term but at this point in time it is a bad idea.

Yes, there is a high possibility Babita will resent Mini too. I know some may think this is unthinkable. But I think it is highly possible.

As for badmouthing, I did not mean it per se. What I meant was she will say something hurtful or may ask him to choose or put a condition...something on those lines...I am quite sure HS will not tolerate that. He shouldn't. He should sunao her (speak his heart out, guts point that CVs have mentioned) and walk away like Rhett Butler.

Because she only deals with things at the superficial level, without thinking through things. Minnie and HS' interaction convinced her to stay back but she did not introspect about the reason why she wanted to leave the haveli in the first place and why it bothered her.

Well Rhett Butler and Scarlet O Hara from the classic Gone with the wind.

It is both a book and a movie with Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh. Clark Gable as Rhett Butler was one of the most iconic and handsome guys ever.

Well Scarlett is one of the most selfish characters ever and Rhett, her husband, puts up with an awful lot before he leaves her one fine day saying Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!

Having said this, the first time that Jean mentioned Rhett and said something like HS may well do a Rhett Butler on Babita, I had responded (don't know if Jean read my response) saying that though it might just pan out that way, I didn't see Babita as a Scarlett because Scarlett O Hara is made of much tougher stuff or something like that or that Scarlett had many more layers to her personality.

She was endearing, charismatic, magnetic, fiercely protective and had a never-say-die spirit. She never ever gives up. And she is anything but frail or weak.

In fact her famous line that stands out is Tomorrow is another day!
