What Babes needs to do is listen to people attentively. They're not trying to hurt her or make her be the bad guy. She wasn't wrong in wanting HS to apologize but she was wrong in the way she did it. It was the same thing with the daaru scene. She wasn't entirely wrong in wanting him to quit drinking. It will only help him in the long run. But the way she did it was wrong.

She's never been with a male partner before so I can give her some leniency but she needs to at least acknowledge that while her intentions were good, her methods could use some altering.

Babita might not be thinking like a mother but HS is surely going to keep thinking like a father. Minnie will always be his top priority. He will never do anything to fall off the pedestal she has put him on or put her through more trauma so that she hates men forever.

Which again, for someone who has had no child of his own, he is doing an excellent job of being a father. He prioritizes Minnie, but he also considers himself. What are his wants and needs? What are some things that he can do without so that it doesn't affect his child in the long term?

HS won't quit, and neither should we. Both Minnie and he are in it together. Did you notice how she pretty much said to him what she had always told her mother?

So as ardent supporters of HS, we have to stand by him and watch his journey.
