The hand holding scene was highly significant. Prerna's initial reluctance and then the abandonment of it was so natural. She wasn't forced or instructed by anyone to do that. She did it out of her own will. The scene was elevated by her honest confession of her fears and the guilt of having doubted him despite his noble intentions.

Prerna actually took a step in his direction.
