In one of my posts above I had said it's not love, it's not even attraction, for babita it's just security she is looking for and a man who will love Minnie as his own daughter.

Actually, we will see that he will neither become Devdas nor will he be so mahaan as to put up with these antics of hers every time. He will yell at her, fight with her, and make her see that she can't have her way every time. He will also end up making her confront her own ideas about her sense of entitlement, and that won't be pretty.

Agreed. I think she's in love with all the glossy things that come with love. The undivided attention, the presents, wanting all your wishes and desires be fulfilled... the woman has already started looking at designer lehengas without even considering if HS wants to get married right now. I understand that she wants this wedding to happen on her terms since they weren't taken into consideration the first time around. I get it, and I fully support her wanting her way but she has to consider HS' wishes as well. She has to prove that she is willing to compromise and put his feelings above hers when time is needed.

I completely agree. I also want him to think of his self-interest at some point, i.e. what is he getting out of this relationship? Is it worth it for him?

Maybe since Babita never received pure love so she only has theories about it. And now it's time for practical and she is clueless. And she's struggling already 😆

Well, I have been saying that a big part of this decision on both sides was because of Minnie, and not just for each other.

Well, this is what Poonam was saying about compromises. Also, we should not punish our second partner for the mistakes of the first. It looks like HS will have to make a LOT of compromises.

IMO, that expression was so point on, in the moment, that the introspection had begun. I could literally hear him saying ke mhaare se galti toh naa hogayi? Yeh ke hogaya? The way he's frustrated with it in Police Station, he does realise that there's a lot of unresolved things yet.
