"You have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, love, love you." is all I can think of saying to Mr. Abir Rajvansh after watching tonight's episode

MashaAllah those expressive eyes do have a bewitching effect.

And those words. Those affirmative, assured, assertive words. That conviction. That strong sense of morality. That vast emotional compass. That consideration, that understanding. Uff Abir 🔥

"Uska mandap sajaa hoga,
Uska ghar sajaa hoga,
Uske sapne saje honge,
Woh khud saji hogi.."

I felt heartbroken for Abir because even with all his noble intentions even in saving Kuhu he wouldn't save her.

Am I the one in minority who actually felt that the episode was beautifully captivating. I terribly terribly missed Mishti's presence on her sister's wedding day. She should have been right there, teasing Kuhu, pulling her leg. Without Mishti the celebrations felt empty, colourless.

Nazar utaarana scene was quite emotional. I actually noticed this very late that how Mishti refers to Rajeshwari as Badi Maa whereas Kuhu calls her Daadi. And woah, I certainly didn't expect Kuhu to involuntarily call out Mishti's name for the second time. Can we thank Lord for small mercies that subconsciously Kuhu also believed that on her wedding day her sister, Mishti should have been by her side. That Ananya being there didn't make up for Mishti's absence.

It honestly felt so wrong for a sister to be getting married in one of her sister's absence

You're right the current track is very important for Kuhu's character development and that is also why they would go about it at a snail's pace because the purported 'conflict' between the two sisters is the base of their storyline. I wish more than Meenakshi and Kunal's manipulations, Kuhu gets influenced by Abir, Nanu and Parul in a good way.

I wonder what would Meenakshi do now that Undesirable Bahu No. 2 will be entering the Rajvansh house. She didn't want Kuhu as her Bahu either, right? Would she go to the extent of trying to make her Munna a divorcee?! 😳

@Bold - Yes, she doesn't like either Maheshwari girl!! Fingers crossed that Kuhu doesn't get brainwashed even more.....Mishti isn't even in the picture, so let's hope she rises above. After all, she is a Maheshwari and her Dadu is Bade Papa who is simply amazing.

Maybe, there is still hope!!

Mishti in the last episode was innocently shown musing over how she would have forewarned her sister (Kuhu) to stay cautious of her mother-in-law had she been there to help Kuhu get ready for her wedding. And again ironically, after picking up fights with Mishti for inane reasons and blaming Mishti umpteen times for being the reason of all her problems, despite of Mishti’s very public and dramatic revelation about her parents, Kuhu was not jumping the guns to murder Mishti. She in fact was taken aback and termed Mishti’s behavior as her getting fits (“Pata nahin aaj Mishti ko kaise daure pad rahe hain..”)

Scenes like these make me feel like the writers do get how much potential the Kuhu and Mishti relationship dynamic has, even though on-screen it always seems to never get the exploration it deserves? Kuhu has always been outspoken about how much Mishti irritates her, but the one time she appears to have legitimate cause to hate on her sister she has been quite muted, compares Mishti's actions to random fits, and has been unconsciously remembering her or completing conversations with her that never happened. Just like Mishti didn't do anything with the info that Kuhu was framing her with the pics, Kuhu hasn't really taken any advantage of the public scene Mishti created. It's a shame neither of them tried to dig deeper into who was driving the uncharacteristic behaviour of the other because they would have found the same root cause...

If the marriage does happen (which I think it would) inevitably at some point the glaring truth about this marriage would & should begin to look apparent to Kuhu. I am desperately hoping she would get to know Kunal for who he is (a manipulative guy who toyed with her emotions all along and never intended to marry her in the first place) This truth holds the key for how Kunal would be perceived as by his own brother Abir and Mishti too (both of whom trusted him) More than anything else it holds the key for Kuhu to open her eyes to the murky world she has landed herself in by continuing to being in her lala land about marriage, about Kunal.

The makers here have an opportunity to not take down the lazy and simplistic route where Kuhu is reduced to a mere puppet, vulnerable and hostile, in the shadow of Meenkashi.

Frankly, this is the biggest worry. Like right from the show started it seemed obvious that Kuhu is the kind of candidate ripe for Meenakshi's manipulative plans against Mishti. Whereas what you have proposed in the past - that Kuhu surprise us by actually extracting her chaotic idea of revenge, would be sooooo much better. Rather than Kuhu blaming Mishti for her situation she should really hold Kunal and Meenakshi to account... But then if Kuhu acts how we would like then there is no conflict for Mishti to deal with because her relationship with Abir is already pretty sorted, hence I fear the plot is going to go where we don't want it to (and I'm not sure I can stand the idea of Kuhu seeking validation from KuMenu urgh)

Such a fantastic post . Yes, the episode was poignantly beautiful.. Your words couldn’t have described Abir more aptly . I agree about both the Nazar utharna and Kuhu missing Mishti and then inadvertently uttering her name twice was emotional! And your last sentence is very true ! Cannot believe Meenu is so callous !smiley18 Looking forward to read your daily analysis now !

Aww, glad you liked the post :) I'll try to write as and when possible :)

I feel many of the fans are not enjoying the current track very much as they feel it is not much MishBir centric. I on the other hand am enjoying the current track very much. Especially the episodes of this week have been very good so far.

That there is going to be a Maha Episode this Saturday is an absolute cherry on the cake 😃
