Chapter 7

As she hasleft sleeping on bed she too was suffering badly,as she woke up and peekedthrough a window tears started making their way out from her eyes to neckmarking their flow with cheeks as she found Akshat who was sleeping on benchshivering badly,she knew today she was unable to make reach the blankets andcomforter to him as the kids were gone to trip and she knew if she would haveasked an adult they would have asked her to return with him which she was in nomood with,

With a very heavy heart,she wiped her tearsgrabbed an comforter and went in garden as she successively wrapped him inblanket he holded her palm,which left Guddan to be scared very scared.

Almost(huffing) she thought

Guddan-kahin kahin Jindal saab uth toh nahi gaye,ho gaya kaand ab what will I answerhim jab yeh humse kuch puch lenge

She lookedvery sacredly at him praying in her mind for her safety and chanting thehanuman chalisa which she just knew the introductory verses,asshe looked at himhe was in deep sleep holding her palm the way an kid holds.

After beingassured that he was still in deep sleep finally she stared at his face,it hadbecame too rough,beard grown,face skin like it will begin to get swollen shebecame sad and thought.

Guddan(mindtalks)-Yeh kya haal bana diya hai aapne apna aur humara jindaal saab aap chale kyunnahi jaate yahaan se,why are you troubling your self so much.

She camenear the bench and sat on her knees her face merely an inch closer to him.Shewaved her hand through his hairs and smilingly said.

Guddan(mindtalks)-koikuch bhi kahe,just look at him no one is going to believe that the great AkshatJindal who appears himself as the most khadus one in the world looks damn cutelike an 5 yr kid while sleeping,so innocent she thought,

Sach kahetoh hume kuch samajh hi nahi aa raha Jindal Saab,ki aaj iss baat ko leke khushhuye ki itne dinon baad aapko itne kareeb se dekh pa rahe hai,feel kar paa rahehain ya apne aap ko guilty mane ki What I have made you

Thinking allthis she felt asleep resting her chin on the bench.

Offcourse shewas the one to wakeup first as she was sleeping in too uncomfortable way, butafter so many days she had slept so peacefully,thankGod he wasn’t stillawake.she managed to take out her hand looked at him smilingly and ran in herroom as now it was early morning and he can wakeup at anytime plus there was anrisk if anyone spotted her so she cleverly and safely escaped.

After almosthalf an hour Akshat woke up,

Akshat justglared at his watch and said,

Akshat-Ohhshit! Itna kaise late ho gaya,it’s already 6.15 after so many days I have wokeup this much late,haan itne dinin baad itni chain ki neend jo aaye.

Ashe raised himself on the bench the blanket fell down he grabbed it and thought,

Akshat-Whowould have brought this,I clearlyremembers when I slept this was not there then and abb toh society’s kids toohave went for an trip toh unn main se bhi koi not possible.

Ashe hugged the blanket,he smiled and said,

Akshat-You love me Mr Guddan Akshat Jindal jitna deny karna hai karlo,you can’t see mesuffering and this blanket is proof for it,I can smell your perfume from thisblanket,I can feel you.i know that you are not going to accept it,but youdefinitely loves me.

Auraap apni zidd bhi nahi chodengi na Mrs Guddan Akshat Jindal,koi baat nahi mainbhi tumhara hi husband hoon Guddan agar tum ziddi ho toh main super ziddi mainbhi tumhe wapas liye bina yahaan se nahi jaungaa………….

Thiswent for next few days as Akshat now refused to accept the blankets from kidsand he used to sleep on the bench same way and in the same way she used to comein late nights and wrapped him in blankets.

Buttill late nights he has to bear the thunder and this has affected his health,hehad got cold.

Shethrough the society members requested him to have medication and go back toIndore but jo pichhe hat jaaye who Akshat Jindaal kahaan.He rejected andcontinued this worsened his condition more.

Thenext night same scene happened but as Guddan wrapped Akshat in blanket andchanged her direction to go she was stunned to see an snake right infront ofAkshat she got damn scared She hesitantly called J j Jindal saab Jindal saabuthiye but he was in sleep and due to her movement the snake got insecured andapproached Akshat but she came in between

JindalSaab she shouted and due to her shout Akshat got woken up and what he found wasjust Guddan collapsing he catched her in his arms and patted her face GuddanGuddan but she didn’t responded.

Akshat-Guddan kya ho gaya hai tumhe?Guddan Guddan

Ashe found some voice chirping when he looked at the bushes he found an snakemaking his way out.It didn’t take time for him to understand what hashappened,he suddenly carried Guddan in his arms and drove to the nearbyhospital.

Akshatwas moving to and fro in the corridor while the doctors were busy examining her.asthe doctor came out

Akshat-Doctor How’s she?

Doctorpatted his shoulder and replied him.

Doctor- Relax Mr Jindal she is absolutelyfine.

Wewere lucky that the snake was non poisonous.

Finallyhe could breathe freely,but then doctor who chakkar?

Doctor-Relax Mr Jindal faint toh wooh chakkar ke wajah se huyi After sometime she willget conscious.

Akshat-Thanks Doctor.

Doctor-It’s Ok Mr Jindal.

Doctorhanded him the prescribed medicines and told him to make sure she takes this ontime as it was an anxiety attack.

Aftersometime she got conscious and she standed on her feet and grabbing his arms.

Guddan-Jindal Saab Jindal saab aap theek toh hai? Wooh Wooh saap.

Akshatjust smiled and replied

Akshat-Still you will say that you don’t love me,Behosh tum huyi thi,hospital ke bedpar tum ho but apne pehle mere liye fikr kar rahi ho and still you say that youdon’t love me.

Guddanturned her head towards opposite side.

Akshat-Sach jhuklane se badal nahi jaata Guddan chhahe jitna bhaag lo sach ka saamnakarna hi padega tumhe aur iss samay ki sachaayi yahi hai ki tum mujhase pyaarkarti ho aur iss baat ko tum chahe jitna jhukla lo par isse yeh badal nahijayega.chood do yeh jidd guddan mat saza do aise apne aap ko.

Guddanhaq hai tumhara ki tum mujhase naraaz ho sakti ho,mujhe saza bhi de sakti hopar aise apne aap ko saza mat do chood do apni zidd aur maan jao chalo Indoremere saath.

Sheturned towards another side.

Akshat-Theek hai Guddan,agar yahi tumhara faisla hai toh main isse bhi apne sarakhoonpar rakhungaa.

Akshatmade her look towards him and said Chalo abb dawai khaa lo.Doctor ne strictlykaha hai.

Butshe refused.

Akshat-Abby eh kaunsi zidd hai,dekho iss mamle main main tumhari kuch nahisunungaa,you have to take this medicines chalo muh kholo and he tried to forceher but she said.

Guddan-Kyaa ha! Aapne maani humari baat,Nahi na jab khud ne medication nahi liya tohhum kyun le?

Akshat-Guddan!

Guddan-Kyaa Guddan kitne dinon se keh rahe hai par nahi,So it’s final I won’t take thesemedicines jab tak aap proper medication nahi lete.

Akshat-Guddan le lunga I promise.

Guddan-Promises toh aapne kai saare kiye the Jindaal saab,kaise yakeen kar le ki aapapna waada nibhayenge,pehle bhi you had broke so many promises.

Akshatsmiled and replied

Akshat-issiliye toh promise kar raha hu,because now I can’t afford to break thepromises especially the promises I made to you.Now I can’t afford yournaraazgi,main tumhe aur dur jaana allow nahi kar sakta.

Finallyboth took the medication after few hours Guddan got discharged as she wascompletely fine while Akshat had to complete the medication course fully.

Akshatstill continued the stunt of sleeping on bench.

Guddanwrapped him in blanket that night too.

Nextmorning

Thekids were back from tour and they first greeted Akshat they hugged and Akshatgifted all of them their favourite chocolates then they went to Guddan guddantoo hugged them all and gifted them icecreams.

Oneof the kid said,

Kid-Kya Guddan didi just an icecream?

Guddan-Are chotu relax,and she replied him who kya hai na chotu kal humIndore Jaa rahehai,toh jab wapas aayenge toh tum sab ke liye dher saara namkeen laayenge,nahiI have better idea than this Hum namkeen pack karke bheejwa hi denge.

Theother kid asked making an puppy face.

“sachmain Guddan didi aap sach main jaa rahe ho,hume chood ke”.

Guddan-Are hum tumko chood ke kahaan ja rahe hai,hum toh yahaan aate jaate rahenge.

Thekids-“ But we will miss you”.

Guddan-I will miss you too.

Buthere was the someone whose face was brighten up with the announcement.He hadsmile on his face and he was on cloud 9.He wanted to hug her but couldn’t asshe was busy with the kids he went to his hotel and Guddan sighed finally,finallyJindal saab went for his hotel.

Thatnight sleep was far away from Akshat’s eyes the next morning he was standingwith his car in parking slot of Guddan’s society.

Akshatwhile looking every now and then in the clock,Itne din toh kat gaye but yeh fewminutes kat hi nahi rahe,kya ho gaya hai yeh ghadi itni slow kyun chal rahihai?

Andthen his gaze felt on Guddan who was descending the stairs along with herbags.Akshat smiled and As Guddan and Guddan’s cousin approached towards parkingarea and kept their bags,akshat bended forward to keep them in the car.

ButGuddan’s cousin stopped him.

Guddan’scousin- What the hell are you doing Mr.Akshat Jindal.

Akshat-Wooh meri patni na apne ghar chal rahi hai,toh usika samaan apni car main rakh rahahu.

Guddan’scousin- you don’t need to.

Beforehe speaks further a cab came forward and the driver started lifting bags.Akshattried to stop him but Guddan’s cousin stopped him.

Akshat-Guddan,why are you not saying anything?

Guddan-Kyaa kahe hum?

Akshat-What do you mean by kya kahe?stop himtum Indore chal rahi ho tumhi ne toh kahatha.

Guddan-Haa toh hum Indore hi jaa rahe hai.Yeh cab toh bass station tak chood degi.

Akshat-What? Kya station tak huh?

“merehote huye station jaane ki jaruraat kya hai,tumhi ne kaha thaa na.”,that youare coming Indore mere saath.
