Some things did work great in 2000 and they should absolutely reboot it in the true sense of the word! We are living in an era of Chipkalis dayans, nagins chudails ruling TRP charts! I don’t see any logic in anything anymore. That’s why I spare myself the horror of emotional distress of trying to find difference. I watch it till it hooks me and moves on.

Let me give you some idea about conceptualisation. Every creative concept is done with heart and soul. Maybe our hearts try to find logic and theirs try to play safe and harness the nostalgia. But still, they are attached to their creation. That’s why I said everyone puts their heart and soul. Sensibility might be different.

Makers try the tested formulas because TRPs are self explanatory. Sometimes exceptional things do work, then that’s a rare case. Check out any TRP stopper. Nothing really makes sense. So I keep my hopes as low as possible. Made peace with it long back 🤪

Oh my god. That supernatural horror on ITV has made me turn my back on it for so long now. Everything is complete hogwash. I think it’s just frustrating to see this lack of effort to deliver a novel experience to the audience. I get the expectations people had in 2000, their acceptance of a horrid saas and perpetually suffering bahu was probably okay then but now when a Mohini keeps hurling these insults at Prerna in say every other episode and she’s just taking it and standing there and sobbing, it makes me want to lunge at her. Woman, open your damn mouth or just walk away.

I guess you’re right about the conceptualization. But I’m so wary of Ekta and I know this might take a nosedive before we even get a chance to get detached and that’s my biggest gripe right now.

Oh absolutely, low hopes is the way to proceed while watching shows of late 😭

Shin and I always say that he likes her this way... I mean he sees her strong girl with respect to her accepting his proposal and pure heart which is connected to his kid ...... "woh bahut achchi hai na " I am sure , he doesn't want her to let go off her innocence and pure heart and change herself into another version of him ... he likes her this way, her pure heart behind her impulsive , immature , judgmental self who has set pre-conceived notions about him .....

and he loves her ladakoo side .. which he shrugs it off by shaking head .. like he did today when she said she doesn't care about his return time or he tries to explain her with "Mrs.Bajaj"

Bajaj was busy on the phone discussing about the deal to Mehra in the living room. Just then Prerna came & asked him to have his breakfast for a faster recovery. But he didn't paid any heed to it! So she brought his breakfast. In one hand it was his favorite mango juice and in the other toast. While talking he was taking rounds & rounds of the table on which a beautiful bowl of water filled with a floating candle was placed . She called him "Mr.Bajaj" but he was still busy talking & doing the rounds , she called him again yet no reply. So she started following him in the rounds. It was in the 5th lap he realized he's being followed. Finally he stopped & turned around and gestured her to stop. Aap bolti toh hum Shaadi wale din extra pheres le sakte the." And with a wicked smile he walked away. After walking few steps he said," Mrs.Bajaj aap dariye mat mein saath Janam ke liye aapke saath booked ho chuka hu. Agar aapko ye contract badhana hai toh you have to wait for tenure to end & then to renew it...that's the law of a contract...itna utawalapan accha nhi lagta. Also kuch din mere saath guzarke check Kar lijiye thoda risky hu kahi zyaada lamba contract mehenga naa pad jae aapko."

Prerna shocked & Bajaj rocked..

this I absolutely love! it's like his patience is over, but he can't fight with her and she has to understand still. that is his last resort, and P also with this title realizes the truth of her life and is jolted back to the world

I actually loved the way P retorted to it,,,,it was same as he does to her ...na maine pucha na main jaanna chahta hoon ...during pag phera. she has been giving back to him in his language😆his expressions! never thought anybody would dare to speak the same language!🤣

she has said this to him earlier also I think..not able to recollect when. today was 2 nd time.
