Things he should have done as per his character-

1. Look at the cctv footage of that hotel from where she was kidnapped.

2. Check for the vehicle no from the cctv footage.

3. Check for the cctv footage of the hotel where he thinks his wife could be. Hotela have camera & they must have had captured any suspicious activity.

4. Ask the hotel if they had seen Anurag or any of his family member under suspicious circumstances.

5. Get the phone tracked. That's no rocket science.

Laws & technology are supposed to be used at time like this. Bajaj bi wahi krne laga jo Prerna kr rhi thi Anurag ke time pr, to dono me Difference kya hua phir?

Nivi went to Prerna's room & Prerna was there, so that wasn't illegal by any standard.

Anurag entering the room & setting it on fire was a criminal offence for certain.

Bajaj barging in like that without proper law enforcement again was an offence even if they were potential criminals.

He is the only one who is supposed to use head in this show even under crisis.

For a man like him, who has the history with using system for his convenience (since he got Ronit's visa ready), this man's mind should be working like ninja in situations like this.
