CHAPTER 16

        Sam se baat karne ke baad vo wapas uss house ki aur jaate hai. vo dekhte hai ki sakshi waha bahar khadi hui hai and pareshan hai. vo uske pass jaate hai. sakshi see him and suddenly hug him.

SAKSHI: kaha chale gaye the? Main kitna dar gayi thi. Ass pass sab dekh liya aap nahi dikhe, koi aise chala jaata hai kya, vo bhi aise jungle main.

                Arjun hug him back.

ARJUN: vo try kar raha tha ki network mile to kisi se contact karu, sam se baat hui hai

               Sakshi parted from him and look him with excitement.

SAKSHI: network aa raha hai? mujhe phone do mujhe ghar pe phone karna hai

ARJUN: vo actually charge khatam ho gaya hai, (after hear it sakshi pout, Arjun continues) sam se bhi theek se baat nahi hui hai. Anyway hame aage chalna chahiye, maine sam se bola hai vo doctor ke yaha gaadi bhijva raha hai

                Sakshi nodded.

[AT HOTEL]

[KARAN’S ROOM]

                Karan sakshi ka phone try karte hai but vo switched off tha.

KARAN: abhi tak phone nahi lag raha, kaha ho tum sakshi? Maine socha tha ki trip pe me tumhare sath waqut spend karunga but...hope tum jaldi aa jauo, i am missing you

                Sameer enter in his room.

SAMEER: karan vo Arjun ka phone aaya tha

KARAN: what? Kaisi hai sakshi? Kaha hai? theek to hai? kab aa rahi hai wapas?

                Sameer look him with inquiring face.

KARAN: v..vo..vo usko bohat choat aayi thi so uske baare me pehle puch liya,tumne dekha tha na kitna dard ho raha tha

SAMEER: haan janta hoon, relax karan kya ho gaya tumhe, don’t worry do no theek hai. jyada baat to nahi hui but vo log kisi jungle main phas gaye hai, vo log doctor ke pass pohche usse pehle hi yeh sab ho gaya, maine doctor ke yaha gaadi bhejne ko kaha hai, Arjun aur sakshi waha pohch jayenge aaj

KARAN: hame khud bhi jaana chahiye, chalo

SAMEER: nahi ham camp ke liye nikal rahe hai

KARAN: what? Aise kaise nikal jaaye? unko leke hi jayenge

SAMEER: vo do no waha aa jayenge, aaj trekking pe jana hai, hame waha hona chahiye, yaha sara arrangement hamne kiya hai so hamara waha hona bohat jaruri hai, breakfast karke nikalte hai.

KARAN: but sam i think hamara Arjun sakshi ke saath hona bhi jaruri hai, ek baar to do no phas chuke hai aisa naa ho ki wapas koi problem ho

SAMEER: iss baar aisa nahi hoga kyuki maine gaadi bheji hai so driver unko yaha leke aayega. Don’t worry do no aa jayenge. Chalo breakfast karke nikalte hai, i am sure waha professor bhi hamara hi wait kar rahe honge

                Karan agree reluctantly.

[AT CAMP]

Camp area main sab breakfast kar rahe hai.

LIZA: kitna beautiful place hai yeh

SHREYA: right, weather bhi accha hai

CHOTU: kisi ki sam se yaa karan se baat hui kya? Kab aa rahe hai vo?

AISHA: kal raat ke baad baat nahi hui, pata nahi bhai aur sakshi aaye hai yaa nahi

RIYA: jaha sakshi hoti hai koi na koi gadbad to hoti hi hai, hope Arjun theek ho aur jaldi do no wapas aa jaaye

LIZA: kya tum sakshi ko blem karna bandh karogi? Kya kiya hai sakshi ne aisa?Gussa Arjun ne kiya aur Galati sakshi ki yeh accha logic hai

RIYA: to vo usko doctor ke pass leaker gaya hai na? aur waise bhi agar sakshi yeh teacher teacher wala natak na karti to vo sab hamare sath yaha hote

SHREE: Ri sirf sakshi ki galti nahi hai, vo to bichari bas Ayu ko help kar rahi thi.

RIYA: haa acchi help ki hai usne, jo Arjun Ayu se jor se baat bhi nahi karta usne aisha pe chillaya, daanta aur baat karna bandh kar diya, wow kya help hai

AISHA: guys please... stop it, kya hai yeh sab? Kyun ekdusre ko blem kar rahe ho, Galati meri hai ab please yeh sab baate yahi chod do

RIYA: vo jo bhi ho Ayu, dekhna Arjun uss sakshi ko asani se maaf nahi karne wala

                        Chotu pe call aata hai. vo baat karta hai and uske baad,

CHOTU: karan ka call tha. Vo aur sam abhi aa rahe hai

AISHA: aur bhai?

CHOTU: vo aur sakshi baad main ayenge, vo log abhi hotel nahi pohche hai

RIYA(mind): Abhi tak nahi pohche, chal kya raha hai? had hai. ek baar Arjun yaha aa jaaye usko akela bilkul nahi chodungi, specially sakshi ke sath to bilkul nahi

[ARAKSHI]

                Approximately 1 hour chalne ke baad do no ek road pe pohchte hai.

SAKSHI: finally jungle se bahar aa gaye.

                Arjun ass pass dekhte hai. unko ek choti si shop dikhay deti hai.

ARJUN: waha jakar puchte hai ki yeh road kon sa hai.

                Vo dono uss shop wale ke pass jaate hai.

ARJUN: suno yeh konsa area hai?

SHOPKEEPER: aap batauo aapko kaha jaana hai?

                Arjun usko ek chit dete hai jiss main address likha hua hai.

SHOPKEEPER: yeh to city main hai, aap city se dur aa gaye hai

ARJUN: yaha se kuch milega kya?

SHOPKEEPER: haa ek bus ayega jo city main jaata hai, uss main beth jaana, yeh jo address apne diya hai vo bus stop ke pass hi hai, waha jakar puch lena mil jayega

ARJUN: aur bus kab milegi?

SHOPKEEPER: vo to pakka nahi hai, waise to 11 baje ayegi

                Arjun watch dekhte hai.

ARJUN (to sakshi): abhi to sirf 8 baje hai

SAKSHI: oh god 11 baje tak wait karna hoga (pout)

ARJUN (to shopkeeper): yaha ass pass koi doctor milega?

SHOPKEEPER: yaha to nahi hai

ARJUN: ok. can i use your phone?

SHOPKEEPER: haa yeh lo

ARJUN (to sakshi): tum yaha betho and if want koi biscuit yaa wafers kuch khalo, main dekhta hoon kya kar sakte hai.

                She nodded positive. Arjun phone lete hai and pehle sameer ko call karke situation batate hai and kehte hai ki vo abhi kisi ko kuch naa bataye also vo unse doctor ka number mangte hai. sameer tell him ki vo puchker issi number pe call karenge. Kuch waqut baad sameer call him and unko number dete hai. Arjun tell him ki vo car yaha bhejde. doctor ka number lene ke baad vo doctor ko phone karte hai and unko sakshi ki situation batate hai. doctor suggest him something and then disconnect the call.

ARJUN (to shopkeeper): thank you so much.

                Then Arjun ask something to shopkeeper then pay some money and come to sakshi.

ARJUN: tum yahi betho main bas abhi aaya

SAKSHI: kaha jaa rahe ho? Me bhi aati hoon

ARJUN: nahi tum waha nahi aa sakti, me bas 15 min main aaya

                Sakshi reluctantly nodded.

[AFTER 20 MINUTE]

                Arjun aate hai and saath saath jeep bhi aati hai.

DRIVER: aap hi Arjun rawte hai na?

ARJUN: haan

DRIVER: sameer sir ne bheja hai, chaliye

ARJUN: chalo sakshi

                        Vo sakshi ko piche bithate hai. then shopkeeper ko once again thanks kehte hai and vo passenger seat pe bethte hai. Driver jeep start karta hai.

ARJUN: sakshi yeh lo, isse tum apne ghunghru nikal sakti ho.

SAKSHI: yeh kya hai?

                Arjun bag se alcohol ki bottle nikalte hai.

ARJUN: doctor ne kaha hai isse nikal jayega bas thoda pain jyada hoga

SAKSHI: nahi main aisa kuch nahi karungi

ARJUN: jitna bola hai utna karo

SAKSHI: no

ARJUN (to driver): gaadi roko

                Vo gaadi rokta hai. Arjun sakshi ke pass piche samne wali seat pe bethte hai.

ARJUN (to driver): ab chalo, jab clinic aaye tab hi gaadi rokna, chahe koi kitna bhi chikhe yaa chillaye

                He nodded and start the jeep. Arjun sakshi ko bottle offer karte hai.

SAKSHI: nahi chahiye kyuki mujhe aisa koi experiment nahi karna hai

ARJUN: try to understand, atleast yeh nikal jayega to tumhe better feel hoga,yeh pehnke rakhogi to tumhara pain badhega.

SAKSHI: nahi me yeh pain thodi der aur seh lungi but yeh sab nahi karugi.

ARJUN: nahi karogi?

SAKSHI: no

ARJUN: theek hai rehne do.

                Sakshi takes sigh of relief and start looking road but Arjun uska feet pakdte hai and usko apni seat ke pass rakhte hai.

ARJUN: tum nahi karogi lakin main to kar sakta hoon

                Sakshi try to say something but his stern face indicate that he dont want to listen her any excuses. He open cap of bottle. Sakshi see it and she is scared. Arjun start pouring alcohol on her ghunghru. Sakshi shut her eyes tight to bear the pain. Phir vo Arjun ko dekhti hai.

ARJUN: yaha kyu dekh rahi ho, vo waha dekho na, dekho shahrukh khan hai

                Sakshi start looking that side excitedly.

SAKSHI: kaha hai? waha to koi nahi hai, aap mujhe ullu bana rahe hai?

                Arjun give unbelievable look to her.

ARJUN: tumhe to tumhare bhagwan ne pehle hi itni shiddat se banaya hai, me kaise tumhe ullu bana sakta hoon samji yaa samjaun

                He again start pouring alcohol.

ARJUN (to driver): suno koi gaana laga do, kya hai yeh madam ko naach gaane ka bohat sokh hai, unko maja ayega, man laga rahega unka

DRIVER: ji sir

                Driver turn on radio and song starts.

                He smiles and sakshi also give faint smile.

KARAN: kuch students jo trekking ke liye nahi jaana chahte unko kehte hai ki sham ke liye lakdiyan and baki cheeze ikkatha kar de

PROFESSOR: theek hai, main yaha unn students ke saath rukta hoon.

SAMEER: ok sir aur ham sab trekking ke liye jaate hai, Arjun aur sakshi aayenge to apko help karenge. Waise bhi 2 din tak to ham yaha pe hi rukenge kyunki jo area ham visit karne wale hai vo yaha se karib hi hai. phir last party aur phir wapas Mumbai.

                        After talk with faculty vo log team ke pass jaate hai.

SAMEER: what’s up friends?

                        Sab unki aur turn hote hai.

RIYA: hey sam, karan

KARAN: so sab ready bhi ho gaye trekking ke liye?

CHOTU: yup accha hua tum do no bhi aa gaye, maja nahi aa raha tha

AISHA: bhai se koi baat hui?

SAMEER: haa vo aa jayenge, you don’t worry.

KARAN: chalo phir ham sab nikalte hai

SHREE: yes why not sab log ready hi hai.

                        Vo and baki students trekking ke liye nikalte hai. jo students trekking ke liye nahi gaye un main se kuch necessary cheeze dhundhne chale jaate hai and kuch students waha reh kar camp pe dhyan dete hai.

[ARAKSHI]

                Do no clinic pohchte hai. doctor kuch medicines dete hai and sakshi ke per pe patti bandhte hai. Arjun and sakshi clinic se bahar aate hai. Arjun hold her when she is walking then make her sit in jeep. Vo medicines lene jaate hai and kuch waqut baad vo hotel ke liye niklate hai.
