Yeah, I understand this is a really bad move on her part. But I was thinking, this is one slip she's made. And just like after that blind about being groped by AB Sr and still meeting him cordially afterwards, I thought it was sort of understood that after a while people still keep working together despite these "incidents". You may exact your revenge in a way but still keep working. So, I didn't expect this backlash. I mean these people know the inside stories already so should they refuse to work with an accused only after he/she is publicly accused by someone? Wo toh fir unhe pehle hi nahi karna chahiye na? That is the ethical way to go. Or so I thought. TBH I still don't have a problem with her working with him because I feel like if a person does whatever they can for any cause, it's well and good. And she has done stuff. I'm not trying to defend her, just saying why I don't mind it. Having said that, I thought the trend was really sweet on the fandom's part. Like I said earlier, she should've been flattered instead of hitting back.

But yeah like Melissa said, maybe her fans were ignoring stuff which disappointed them about her or took away from the image they had of her and this has come as a breaking point. I feel sad though cuz I still like her 😒

Well the Obama's n Meryl Streep knew about Harvey Weinstein. Matt Damon n Ben Affleck even tried to stop media from publishing stuff exposing Harvey. So high chances most people in the industry do know about vthis stuff. Gossip travels like fire in entertainment industries anyways

Yeah..I just mean that if someone does take a step towards refusing to work with shady people, I applaud that and admire them for it but if someone doesn't, I sort of get it cuz that's just being practical in an industry as murky as BW.

Taylor had a clause that for every album she makes from the 7th one, she will get a chance to own only one of her previous own and by that trapping her for another whole decade. She was not provided the option of purchasing her discography financially like with others where she basically wrote and composed every single song!! In all her albums. She was ok with that but handing her labour into her bully's hands who was previously Kanye's manager was the thing she was outraged about. When u are the songwriter crafting all your albums yourself and than not even getting the chance to financially purchase your own labour of work is a low blow.

If only Taylor did not have the most useless publicist to ever walk the face of the Earth and had Deepika mata's pr team, then she would not be so much crusified and get flax which people commiting heinous crimes and treating their staff horribly do not get even 25% of.

Lol Noone thinks demi n Nicki r saints. But Taylor is potrayed to be one by her n her fanbase while she ain't. That's why I think she n dp r same. Not to mention she is respective towards her current bf of 3 years and does not fawn over her 10 years' old ex boxers and does not take opportunity to get closer with a cheater. Taylor has self respect and ain't a doormat like Deepika dhongi. And is not obsessed with a cheater either. When she is done with someone, writes a song about her experience and then never looks back or utters their name then after😊. She MOVES ON!!!

Yikes. What an utter disappointment she turned out to be. And no, I never idolized her or expected morality from a film star of all people, but the point is: you can't pretend to be a feminist who advocates for change in the industry to only turn around and go against everything you've preached by signing a film with a director who's been accused of sexual harassment. You can't expect people, especially your fanbase to turn a blind-eye to your hypocrisy while you hide behind your PR to evade accountability and direct the attention to your co-star to drag him/them into the line of fire. It just makes you look like a coward lacking of a spine and the ability to speak for yourself to take accountability for your actions.

I'm sure she'll recover from this with more PR exercises in the future but personally, I just can't view her the same again.
