And what is this #NotMyDeepika. As if her conduct has been squeaky clean . She has been an embarassment to her Lover/Husband all the time with whatever statements she keeps making about Ranbir. Smell, Boxers, Fav person and what not 🤢

Hmm actually, not wanting her to work with Ranbir could be a motivation here, for some of her fans at least.

As for your second point, usually fans will come up with all sorts of excuse for their favorite’s crap. Deepika fans up until now were no exception. That in of itself is very telling that this time they didn’t even attempt to make excuses for her.

Poor PR on the part of Deepika.

The #NotMyDeepika was not trolling to bring her down. Fans were genuinely upset that she was signing a film with a problematic director. The right thing to do would have been to acknowledge fans and their concerns. Reassure them that she values them and will do everything in possible to ensure that she does films that will make them proud. And that perhaps fans should be patient and give a chance.

After that, she should introspect the role she signed up for. Is it in line with the expectations she has built with her fan base? Is the script misogynistic or problematic in any way? Then act appropriately. IMO a big star like Deepika can steer the writing to be more positive.

Hmm ranbir and others got so much bashing for working with luv from them. They had no other options besides bashing her for some days lmao. Not gonna last long 😆.. thoda drama to karna padta hai😆
