For me the problem here is more about how anurag has been promoted by star plus and balaji and idolised by some fans rather than in the character himself. Anurag is not this perfect selfless being. He is a normal guy who has lost his temper, made mistakes, been boring on many an occasion, not known how to use a phone camera to collect evidence 😂, not appreciated that he needed to break up with Prerna in private etc. He has also be fiercely loyal to his family and close friends, caring and respectful to people less privileged than him, conscious of differences and tender to his less loved older sister, loving to his mother and father, honest about his boring traits. Basically anurag is a normal guy with lots of good but also some greys and mistakes in him.

Just as they did in the Kom track (with Prerna), CVS are showing anurag to not have any memory of the past relationship and conversations and love and loyalty shown by Prerna. But he is a hurt and tortured guy right now and has made a mistake by hitting out at his love. This is a mistake - without question. Bad move.

However, this is a writing-off of the character only if either you are just an anurag/parth fan who like star plus thought he walked on water and was perfect or you can’t wait for anurag to be written off so that Prerna can start a relationship with someone new.

I personally find all the reactions to the bachcha being shown to slap Prerna slightly amusing because from the start of this series people have loved to point out any fault in Prerna and ridiculed her as being growth-less, not interesting, flighty, impulsive, brainless. Though maybe nowadays anupre fans say the same things but with affection.

The reality is that anurag and Prerna are both a young couple with lots of good things about them and some not so good things - as we all are. And the good stuff doesn’t make them saints and the bad stuff doesn’t make them devils either.

Anurag made a mistake. He will hopefully be forgiven if he make up for it through future acts. That is life.

You are perfectly talking sense and I agree with everything you said. Anurag is no saint I said this way back when Sitara used to promote him like anything I even said how it gets on my nerves.

My issue isn't about this slap either but a worry that they may actually make him do even worse in future.

You asked what's the difference between Komo track and this track, CVs never wanted to elevate Komo over Prerna , and made her complete dark before AnuKom marriage itself. Here CVs still trying hide and seek with new character without proper character sketch and full proper marriage is what making things worrisome and different

Abhiya you have been strong until now - stop doing what you’ve told people not to do until now. Don’t anticipate the future track. We don’t know where this is going. So we need to wait and watch. Wait and watch.

And from neutral viewer POV and my mom's POV if they are really planning for other couple they should start working on that character, not Anurag butchering, Anurag is established character so audience will let go off these small small butcherings so if they think it's easy route then they are wrong, my mom is trying to connect with new character in either good or bad way but couldn't at least she understood Komo is self obsessed narcist who's ego was hurt by Anurag's ignorance made him her obsession but here she couldn't understand anything about new character she really have 0 idea about what that character is or wants, and contradictionary acting and KZK isn't some thriller and audience will be interested in suspense games, so even if they butcher Anurag, the other pair can't be given chance because it's already a month and no proper sketch for the character.

100% agree to this! Ekta is making a big time mess by combining the prev season n her reboot season n trying to bring in her iconic villains n completely destroying the beautiful couple AnuPre who with their amazing chemistry has already become the linchpin of the whole series without whom the complete series will fall apart!

The only way through which the story line can be changed is through TRP! Though the TRP is not up to the mark but still its not enough to ring a bell to the Channel to warn the PH!! Though the CVs are foolish with their illogical writing but they are good in marketing strategy by sprinkling AnuPre lollipops through out the episodes n they somehow lure the audience with their misleading Precaps!

Based on what i saw in the segment about the upcoming episodes i am least interested in watching AnuPre repeating each other's mistakes ending up giving more pain to each other!

And about the other person n Prerna. i dont see any scope because the person has already fallen in the eyes of the audience by forcing Pre n ruining the happiness of two families, so even if they bring in the angle of his emotional attachment with his daughter, 'charming' qualities etc wont be enough to make the audience accept him! And if he is not accepted then there is no point in even thinking about Pre n him

I’m happy they are showing this side of Anurag because every individual has that one not so likeable side . And that side of Anurag came out ( considering this track is similar to Komo , I see what Pre must have said that angered him) but again he being that composed Anurag immediately realised his mistake and apologised.

But I’m still not liking all this ... Anurag .. AnuPre ..

I’m not comfortable with this side of my couple , though I know thsi happens in real but still . Writers are not that capable . They did not gave closure to that moment which happens between IshRa , and same will be repeated with AnuPre

I did not liked that Raman but I understood where he was coming from . But Raman has been that impulsive jerk so it should have expected this from him but it still bothers me .

They didn’t give a proper closet and conversation between anupre after the Kom track. I really hope we get one after this and we don’t see any more marriages. I could write a script for balaji 🤣
